Just spent €13.5 for 3 sips (yes, sips) of wine, a few small pieces of cheese and bread. No service, no suggestions, it must be a good place for locals but not us, foreigners. Save your money and buy cheese and wine in the grocery store and try at home.

This place is what I call a tourist trap. According to the references they gave me, the visit to the cheese factory takes 30 minutes. There are no visits. It's just a place where you can taste, eat and buy cheese. It's a way of selling, that's right, but it can't be presented as it was. Anyway, we ended up having coffee, as we had just had breakfast and the service was so bad that it actually took us almost 30 minutes to be served.

I took a taxi to this place, only to discover that the only thing open to visitors was the store. I got to sample excellent cheese, and could see the cheese factory through windows, but I expected more, based on their website. Should I have come as part of a group?

Lots of different cheeses, all very good. The very special spicy cheese. Cheese boards at a good price and a window that allows you to see the cheese factory. Friendly employees and good prices.

We stopped in for a cheese plate and a beer while touring Terceira. The cheeses weren't particularly memorable, but the setting was very pleasant. At the far end of the parking lot and down the road from Queijo Vaquinha there are great places to view the island and the ocean.

The place is just a small snack bar where people come to buy cheese and drink beer. We went there expecting to get a tour or some insight into the cheese making, but unfortunately the only thing you get to see is where they store the cheese though a window. You can taste their delicious cheese though, and buy some home for a reasonable price.

You had your choice of 3 cheeses made right there. There were plenty of samples and they could be wrapped for air travel. The bull street videos were playing on the screen and the locals and tourists all joined in with commentary. Fun, fun, fun.

Best cheese! They have four varieties of cheese here which are all delicious. This is a spacious spot for cheese and drinks. Lots of people hanging out, several tv screens, an outdoor patio. You can book a tour to meet the cows, feed the calves, try fresh milk and tour factory. Or just come to sample the cheese and hang out. Car necessary to get here from Angra unless you book a tour. It sounds like some half and full day tours include a stop here to sample cheese (but not have a full factory and farm tour which is a tour on its own) so it’s worth asking as well if this interests you.

Very interactive and friendly visit to this factory of handcrafted cheese. We got to milk a cow and feed a little lamb. And had a delicious cheese tasting at the end. Highly recommend it! One of the best experiences in Terceira.

The little shop is connected to their cheese production area. Four cheeses available at low prices. My only complaint was the smell of cigarette smoke in the building. Not very appetizing or a good presentation of their product.
