Place very well decorated and with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Gastronomically well-prepared snacks and friendly service! I really enjoy and came twice during our stay.

Great place to have a coffee, lunch or dinner. We ordered gazpacho, ceviche and tuna tataki, everything was delicious! And of course, the chocolate cake is a MUST-EAT! The waiter and waitress were super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

This is a stylish (in the Retro sense) cafe in the town center with tables inside and outside. My friend and I arrived in Ponta Delgada during low season searching for fresh, authentic seafood. It seemed like the menus were all the same everywhere and unfortunately, the fish plates were all enormous and way overcooked on our first couple tries. That being said, maybe that's the common style here. But imagine our relief when we discovered Louvre Michaelense! Shoutout to our sweet bartender/server Rodrigo whose creativity and love for cocktails is evident in all his carefully considered creations. We had the most amazing service thanks to him and his spot-on menu suggestions. Get everything: cocktails (with and sans alcohol), cheese plate, entrees, and desserts. You will not be disappointed. Take time also to peruse the cabinets of all the artisanal goodies on offer- I snagged some beautiful fish scale earrings that I'll treasure forever. We ate here twice and would have again if we had longer in the Azores! Thanks for the wonderful food, hospitality and memories.…
