This was already my second time with Jasmin and her husband and I (again!) absolutely loved the trip. In the beginning there’s a short introduction and then we hopped onto the speed boat. You can clearly tell that Jasmin’s motivation is not about making business, but to give people an understanding of what’s going on in the ocean and how beautiful it is - her passion definitely made me come back (and recommend her to friends visiting the Azores in August). Unlike bigger companies Jasmin and her husband have a speedboat - this way it’s easier to react, the boat can move closer to the animals and generally you are closer to the animals. We saw plenty of dolphins and even some turtles.

We had a great trip with Sea Colors, seeing bottlenose dolphins, a sperm whale and fin whales. Really informative, careful and considerate crew. The boat itself is a really fun ride regardless of whether you see anything. Recommended!

Booked this trip to celebrate a special birthday. We really hoped to find whales, although we knew October would make it more difficult than the summer months. Capt. Paulo and Jasmine were the perfect hosts. Totally dedicated to the cetaceans, and their environment. We traveled quite a way, eventually finding dolphins. They were happy to swim along with the boat. We were on our way back to base when they received a radio message that whales had been spotted, almost where we had just come from. They turned around and we went back out to sea. They found a number of Sperm whales and a Fin whale (2nd largest animal on the planet!). Their dedication is unbelievable. Our 3 hour trip turned into almost 5 1/2 hours. If you want to see these creatures, you should find Sea Colours in the Marina. They never give up!

Whilst we had to appreciate that our ticket did not guarantee any sightings where nature is in control, due to the dedication, passion and commitment of Captain Paulo/Jasmine, we were treated to sightings of Sperm & Fin whales plus the usual array of dolphins. The white knuckle return trip was also a great end to a fantastic experience.

Such an informative host, all felt very safe and respectful of the sea and it's animals. We went in September and saw lots of common and spotted dolphins, was absolutely amazing, so close to the boat having fun! Unfortunately no whales but perhaps next time, is the way of things!
