The pool is at the bottom of a steep winding road, there is plenty of parking spaces, we did not fancy going into the sea at it was a bit cool, so we went into the outdoor thermal pool cost 6 Euros each you pay...More
At the seaside in Ferraria, at Termas da Ferraria, there's a natural pool where hot water from underground mixes with cold water coming in from the sea, to create a natural hot water pool. Access to this pool is free, and there are showers and...More
We made an appointment via phone for a couples massage. We got there and checked in, the man at the desk told us that there was no appointment booked and if we wanted they could schedule us one at a time. We ended up going...More
Disappointing visit to the spa restaurant.
Ignored by the staff, very difficult to get served, and every desert we asked for on the menu was “not available”.
Hard work to even get a couple of coffees, felt like too much bother for the staff to...More
What a wonder of the world.
Swimming in the Altantic Ocean and selecting your water temperature. It you want or like the water really hot, you get lose to the rocks. The further you get from the rocks, the colder the water becomes. It can...More
Ropes in the outside pool (free access) not well maintained. Toilets dirty. Price for the spa area is 20€ per person, which is compared to other thermal experiences extremly high. The spa area did not make the best maintained impression from my point of view.
There are two pools, the nature ones in the sea and then paid. The paid ones consist of open pool and spa center. The open one for 8€ is a crap. Not really warm, the pool in worst condition lucky that I did not paid...More
We were staying in Ginetes so thought it worth going. We didn’t use the spa but just went into the natural seapool. Didn’t have to pay. No changing rooms by the sea. People just left their clothes on the rocks and went in. Bring flip...More
The beautiful and serene view of this place is shadowed by the terrible service of the spa. Irrationally overpriced, we paid 150 euro to use an outdoor pool, which was so congested and full. The indoor facilities (jacuzzi and Turkish bath) were so badly maintained...More

How busy they are might depend upon the season. We were there mid afternoon in late March/early April. They were sold out of massage appointments for Sat so we made reservations for Sunday and even then the times we wanted weren't available. So instead of having our massages at the same time we had to get slots one after the other. When we arrived there was just one masseur on duty. He was wonderful though.
They told me when I made the reservations they would only accept cash (Euros).
The outside pool was filled with locals all chatting at the top of the voices- which is loads of fun of course but not a relaxing experience at all- if that's what you are hoping for. There is a pool inside the spa and it had a young family inside shrieking and frolicking. Again- loads of fun for them of course but a bit odd for a spa I thought.
Just a heads up- outside each of the open shower stalls is a long cord- it's NOT the light. It's an emergency cord that sets off an alarm. There is nothing indicating this and when I was there it went off almost every time someone new came in to use the shower. The staff has to come and turn it off and they are in NO hurry. Hopefully they will get signs!
So between the shrieking at the inside pool and the alarms going off frequently the spa wasn't quite the relaxing/tranquil experience I was expecting. But it is something I would do again. Perhaps early in a weekday would be a better time to visit if you\re looking for tranquility.
