    Everything Pineapple!
Definitely worth a trip! We walked here from our hotel downtown (a bit of a hike, but not too bad!). The admission is free. When we arrived, we were greeted by a hostess who explained to us how everything worked. They have a tent that displays different stages of the pineapple growth. The signs have QR codes to learn more-- our cell service was not great, so this didn't work for us. Then, you can explore two of the greenhouses and see pineapples growing at different stages. It is very pretty. They also have a larger barn with videos and more information. Afterwards, you can go to a cafe-like tent where they give you free samples of pineapple jam on toast and pineapple liquor. They have the products for sale (very reasonable prices!). You can also order from a small menu of sandwiches and everything pineapple!

    Fun stop in Ponta Delgada
There isn’t a whole lot to see at the farm. You do get to walk through some of the green houses with the more mature pineapples. They also have some videos and displays of the growing process which were interesting. The pineapple tasting and the offerings at the cafe are really good with fresh pineapple, drinks and other pineapple snacks. You dont need much time to spend here.

    Fun, informative place!
A great place to visit! I learnt so much about pineapples and just generally had a fun time! I’ve never particularly liked the fruit but I tried some while here and it was absolutely amazing!! Not sure any other pineapple will cut it from now on. The free samples were greatly appreciated!

    So close to home!
This place was great and not to be missed! Wow my families place is less than a mile from this business and in walking distance and it was my first time here! We will definitely be back. All the staff was great and learning how the pineapples grow etc was educational.

    Excellent experience
Loved it here, loved the free tasting and the pineapple sorbet was the best sorbet I have ever had, sugar free and vegan and so refreshing on a hot day, I went here two days running. The pineapple juice looked great too. Very friendly staff.

    Free samples
A free self guided tour that offered free samples at the end. We enjoyed it. The people that work there are really friendly and helpful. They have other snacks for purchase, which were delicious. We walked there from the cruise port.

    Well worth the visit
It was fascinating to learn how pineapples are cultivated and to see greenhouses full of pineapples at various stages of growth. It was particularly wonderful to see a flowering pineapple plant. There is no fee to enter the plantation or to park. You can walk through 2 greenhouses. Explanations are accessible via QR codes on big posters. At the end, you can have free pineapple jam on toast and pineapple liquor and order fresh pineapple to savor. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Informative visit to Azorean pineapple plantation
Lovely visit yesterday with husband. Informative display in English and Portuguese showing pineapple growing cycle. Tasting of pineapple jam and liqueur with opportunity to buy products from shop and sample others at on-site cafe. Pineapple caipirinha and juice were both yummy and the plantation’s pineapple was a revelation with its zingy taste. Would definitely recommend if you want to while away an hour in Ponta Delgada

    Worth a quick visit
There isn't a whole lot to see here. Basically it's a walk through several greenhouses showing the stages of pineapple growth. We piggybacked on a bus tour guide which was much better than wandering around alone. There's a nice cafeteria selling everything pineapple flavoured. The pineapple gelato is especially nice. It's definitely true that these pineapples are better than the more common Hawaian style ones.

It's a great place to get to know more about pineapple growing and see the different stages of the plant throughout it's lifecycle (they have a tent showing that specifically). The food and drinks at the café/bar are definitely recommended! Staff is super friendly and happy to answer all sorts of questions. Worth a visit!

We loved this spot! I honestly wasn't interested initially in going but was so glad we did! You can do a free self-guided tour through a couple of the greenhouses (quick) and then go to their cafe where you'll get free samples of the pineapple liquor and jam. We also tried the fresh pineapple, the pineapple flambe dish (amazing) and the ham/cheese/pineapple tosta. Everything was delicious and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend for a quick bite or lunch, or just a nice stop in during your stay.

The visit was very nice, you can walk through the pineapples and see the different growth stages. After that you can have some drinks or pineapple at their bar, the staff is ultra nice (they even gave us some pineapple jam to try), i’d recommend their pineapple caipirinha. overall, it’s just a must to visit it!

This is a short self guided tour where you visit several greenhouses and observe Azorean pineapples in their various stages of growth. Afterwards you enter a cafe under a tent and are given free samples of pineapple jam, toast and pineapple liqueur. We purchased 4 different scoops of natural ice cream and the flavours were exquisite. Pineapple is very tasty but also very expensive to buy. Staff is very friendly but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this small plantation.

I had really looked forward to visiting a pineapple plantation here, and was excited to find that there was one just on the outskirts of town!
The self guided through the greenhouses with QR codes with information (free WiFi offered). The PDL minibus, Linea Azul, stops right near the entrance.
The free samples were appreciated and the menu begged to be explored. I had a sliced pineapple and a delicious Caipirinha.
