We took a local bus to go to Mosteiros. You definitely get to see the countryside and villages en route. Black sandy beaches, natural bathing pools and some amazing views. Backdrop is the tree covered slopes of one of the volcanoes.

We drove to here to see the beach and we were not disappointed. Beautiful views and very relaxing.you can get a snack and drinks near the beach.

Spectacular sea views that are breathtaking. This was part of our tour and it was magical to capture the magnificent scenery.

The views of the park/island/ocean are great. The island was formed from volcanic activity and the lush plants are beautiful.

This is a photogenic location for sea shots especially with rough surf pounding the rocks. Lots of opportunities to get that wave hitting perfect with spray.

Great views of the seascape, jutting rocks poking out of the ocean, the surrounding greenery of the hillsides and the whitewashed village of Mosteiros.

Drove here to see the ocean views and rocks. Reminded me of Dorset but with sunshine. Well worth the drive to see the lively sea crashing on the rocks. Very photogenic all round. You won't be disappointed if you visit !

The area is extremely "photogenic" and you can hear all the cameras and cell phones clicking. We have seen some people swimming in the area as well.
