During an organized tour to visit the Azores, we entered this shop, small in surface area but immense in terms of gastronomic offer.
Friendly staff, helpful but not pushy.
We couldn't "fill up" on cheeses (although they also vacuum-pack them, to make transport easier), but we "went wild" by purchasing traditional biscuits.
We took, for consumption once we returned to our native soil, two boxes of “Queijadas da Graciosa” of 6 pieces each, a 100 g pack. of biscuits “Bogangas de Chá Preto c/ bergamota e double chocolate negro” and one of “Bogangas de Chá Verde c/ Jasmim e Ananás”, the latter produced by Chá Gorreana, which we were unable to find during the visit to the company shop of the tea growing company.
Excellent products, with a sufficiently distant expiry date to allow us to go home and enjoy them while remembering the holiday...
Total cost, for the four packs of delights, Eur 19.16.
If we are lucky enough to return to Ponta Delgada, we will not fail to return to this shop to fill our suitcase with gastronomic souvenirs.
We recommend a stop for eco-sustainable purchases (you devour and appreciate everything!).

There were 3 of us that stopped at this great little shop after a tour of Sao Miguel. This shop was well known by our tour guide and he recommended several cheeses that the shop was known for. We tasted a number of cheese, and purchased 2 wedges which the shop kindly vacuum packed for our travel. I also purchased a bottle of 20 year Port that cost less than 2 glasses of a similar aged Port back home in the US. When you visit this shop, be sure to ask how it got its name.

If you want to bring taste of the Azores home this is the place for you. Cheese, jam, sardines, tea, wine, liquor.
All is here with reasonable prices. Eg. tiny Mulher de Capote liquor here costs 1,9€ while the same stuff at Maviripa costs 3,5 €.

We did a tasting of various cheeses, which was very interesting. We tasted 36 months of cheese from S Jorge, and from other Azorean islands.
The service was very welcoming and professional. We bought various cheeses, liquors and sweets.

Amazing shop full of all the tastes of the Azores. Start with the cheese tasting (the older the sharper!) but don't forget to try the honey. Get the green wine here to bring home so memories of your trip last longer. I bought honey, jams, wine...don't miss this shop when you're in Ponta Delgado!

This is a wonderful shop selling Azores traditional food and a huge selection of cheeses. We bought some wee bottle of liqueurs .Well worth a visit especially if you are self catering.

Fruit, cheese, drinks, famous Azores pastries... Last stop before returning home to make sure you leave with some of these delicious foods. Great prices, locals buy there too.

We found this store on our last day before the departure back home from Azores. I wish for it to have happened earlier; I would have shopped here daily. What a great place. All kinds of Azorian delicacies. Selection of wines, liquors, jams is impressive. The main attraction is the variety of cheeses. Very enjoyable place to shop.

It is central and they serve really fast, you can even taste a bit of cheese if you're not sure of what you want. My suggestion is to shop cheese and marmelade, especially blackberry, anyway you can find a wide range of tastes thet you cannot even get at the supermarkets.
