We loved this place and actually squeezed in a second visit on our last day just to get more of their wonderful cookies! The first time we joined a quick tour of the factory (free but good to tip) - the guide was so knowledgeable and nice. Then we went to the cafe where they have free samples of various teas (the Christmas blend was our favorite) and got some incredible tea infused cookies and other sweets. The view is beautiful, especially at sunset! Great to sit on the porch and enjoy your treats while looking out over the fields. Really peaceful in the morning, seemed to be busier later in the day. Would highly recommend.

Even if you don't appreciate the taste of tea, you should stop by here if nothing more than to walk the grounds of one of the only working tea plantations in the western hemisphere. If you do appreciate tea? Then definitely come by. Walking the grounds and just being able to wander through the plantation was very beautiful and quiet as many did not take the time to do so. Inside the buildings is a very short but very interesting self guided tour through the production. We had the employees working through their normal day engage with us a few times and it was very enjoyable. Make sure to come during the week if you want to see this little tour as the production is typically not working on the weekends. a lot of options in the shop and they are currently working on what looks to be a pretty amazing expansion on the west side of the building. May have to come back to see that some day.

The tea plantation has survived being in business well over a century. The teas are of good quality, fields are rotated every year and no fertilizer is used in the crops. Long they have been organic before it was in style. They offer a guided and self-managed tours of the facility and free samples. The highlight of our visits (we went twice as we enjoyed it so much) was the bake shop where they make pastries every day which you can enjoy with a drink of free tea by the plantation-side in an open air facility. Highly recommend you spend time here. Note it gets busy if/when the bus tours arrive, so be prepared. Please indicate if you found this helpful as it will help me focus my review efforts in the future, thanks!

We have not seen a mechanised tea plantation before. Pretty setting for tea bushes looking out to the ocean. The tea is light and easily drinkable. There is a cafe on site selling one of the best ice creams and pastries.

We headed to the tea plantation with no real expectations. We were pleasantly surprised. We took a free tour, our guide took us through the building explaining how the tea is harvested and processed. Very interesting. Samples of tea at the end were a nice treat. You could also order any of their teas at the bar. We all either bought tea to take home, or sampled the gelato after our tours. I have since enjoyed a few cups of tea at home and the taste is what I remember. Great place to visit on the island!

Tea farm is nothing new to us. We have been to plenty of tea farms in Asia so it is quite interesting to see one here. Other than a video showing the history of tea farming here there is a self-guided tour of the factory which was not operating at the time of our visit. Some women were separating the tea as we walked through. Free tea sampling in the small restaurant that also serves as a gift shop. I give this an extra star for the beautiful environment of the farm. Very green up on the hill looking over the ocean.

You should definitely stop by this plantation when you drive by. You can enter the building for free where the old machines still are in use. The history of the plantation is introduced in a small exhibition, and at the end of it you can try their tea also for free. If you are satisfied, grab another cup and a delicious cake and enjoy the terrace with a beautiful view on the tea bushes.

We expected a tour through the "factory" and the story of how the tea is made, but we got nothing. There is a "restaurant" where you can get a coup of green and black tea from the can and giving a donation, some videos are running on the screen and that´s it. Nothing more.

This is the biggest tea factory and plantation on the island. The tour is not guided and you are on your own! If you want to know more about the process, you can read the posters on each room. You can also see the workers in action so it is interesting. I also find the display of old machines and materials quite nice.

At the end of the self-tour, you can serve yourself a cup of tea. It did not taste good though hence it was quite disappointing. The last stop is the shop where you can buy locally produced items, souvenirs and of course tea. You can also order some food and eat it there. The atmosphere is not so comfortable though.

Outside of the factory is the plantation. You can roam around freely. You can also hike to the mountains on the other side of the road to see the rest of the tea plantation. You can also watch them picking the tea leaves. It is not a good idea to hike up on midday though.

Beautiful natural wonderland. No need to pay for a tour operator. I suggest going early in the morning, we came at opening and had the whole place to ourselves. The grounds were an amazing walk directly through the tea fields. Up into a Japanese cedar tree forest. We passed a horse and pet it! Complimentary tea available after the very short walking tour where you see them processing the tea as they have since the beginning. First and only tea plantation I have visited, totally worth a visit. The views to the ocean are seen from almost every area of the short hike/walk.
