Love this beach.

When tide out walked this fabulous beach every day . Amazing Rock formations and Historic Cliff Top walk . Start behind O LIno beach restaurant. Spotless beach . My favorite.

Less crowded than Praia Da Rocha beaches

Really nice beach with a couple of very good restaurants nearby (try O Rebelo). Spar shop 100 metres from beach. Beds and umbrellas available. Beach cleaned each morning

Nice beach

Really nice beach however it is really busy and all the sun loungers take up a lot of space. There is a place to rent pedalos and and paddle boards which is cheap and good for kids

A beautiful beach

The beach can be busy but the sands are clean and golden. A great place to relax.
The beach shelves a little at high tide but when out you can wade out quite a distance safely.

Lovely beach between Alvor and Praia Do Rocha

Visited here last week - the weather was not too good - but there are lovely walks here and so many lovely restaurants - all casual bar and everyone is so friendly - the area is great for wild flowers and nature lovers -

Fantastic Beach!

Although it is very close to the developed resort of Portimao, we are so glad that we made the effort to search out this beautiful beach. Access to the beach is via a gentle slope and the sandy beach is framed by a pretty bay. Parking is pretty good nearby with 4 blue badge parking bays adjacent to the beach entrance. There is a good selection of cafes and restaurants nearby, without the beach area feeling overdeveloped. Definitely recommend that you give it a try if you are staying in Portimao, as it has far more character than Praia da Rocha

Lovely unspoilt natural beach.

Much nicer than Praia do Rocha beach which is only accessible via steep descents, this beach is easily accessed from the path. Lovely clean sand, lots of little inlets formed by recesses in the overhanging cliff. Plenty of beachside restaurants and snack bars. Just be careful about high tide, the beach dramatically reduces in size and you could find your towel soaked by a strong surf.

Small sandy bay. Within walking distance of praia da rocha. Very nice area. Restaurants opposite if you want meals or drinks.

sand was soft and clean.

Great beach by our hotel. Restaurants on and near the beach. Could walk to other beaches when tide was low. Not overcrowded. Loungers and umbrellas were available if needed.
