Most definitely the highest I've ever been apart from in a plane lol . Takes more than a moment to realise exactly what your trying to take in . The drive up to top is hairy to say the least , most of the way...More

If visiting the algarve it is worth a visit for the amazing views! Little artisan shops. The restaurant does snacks, for something more substantial stop at a Road side restaurant in the way up or down.

If you go all the way up to the top by car it takes approximately 45 minutes. But I assure you that it's worth it every second! From the top of the highest point in the Algarve you will have an amazing view over the...More

Worth a drive up. Roads are pretty good compared to other countries I've been to. You can see the ocean from here and it's picturesque. There aren't many nice looking bars or restaurants on the way up. A few grubby looking ones.

Highest point in the Algarve, and a nice windy road to the top through Monchique. Lots of eating opportunities on the road up. BUT, you are really up there for the view, and regrettably in summer, though it is cloudless, there is often a thick...More

When the weather is clear, you get a spectacular view from here. It's the highest in Algarve, but if changes are you've seen more dramatic mountains elsewhere in the world. Anyway, it's worth the car trip - if for no other reason then to have...More
