We enjoyed our visit here. It's not full of tacky shops and the restaurant we visited (The Mayflower) was a surprisingly good find. I was surprised to see it is the highest rated activity in Vilamoura though as I don't see much more to it than a congregation of shops and restaurants but my in laws loved it. It was... More

Having enjoyed rambling around the Marina for the last 20 years our experience on our recent holiday to Vilamoura was poor. The number of drunken Scots and English 'on tour' was unfortunate for most other holiday makers. Their behaviour was a disgraceful. For younger families to witness the cursing, outrageous behaviour including them urinating in the corner against the wall... More

Good selection of restaurants and shops in a very pleasant area. Large Marina with many boats. We obviously could not try all the eating establishments, but they all seemed equally busy. Several Italian and Chinese restaurants were mixed in with the Portuguese ones. Nice Sardines, Pizza and Steaks. Service was mixed in some places, but generally friendly staff.

The marina is full of luxury yatchs and places to eat and have a drink. Every cuisine is catered for. Portugese, Indian, Japanese, Thai. The list goes on. The prices here are a few Euros more per dish than on the streets behind, but it is nice to sit by the water and chill with a drink.

Probably one of the best marinas in Europe, as it is a destination in itself. There are probably a hundred tourist and golfers from very boat owner. It has lovely views and probably the most complete set of different types of restaurants anywhere. Italian, English, Portugeuse, Continental, Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Nordic, Sushi, Steakhouse, Nordic, Tearoom, Irish Pub, English Pub... More

Vilamoura Marina is the very heart and soul of the town, with a vast very of shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities. Great to walk about both night and day.

Unique experience just to walk and enjoy. There is everything here, an ideal to watch and enjoy. Always busy all year round, and one of the "must do" pleasures.
