Always worth a visit even when its a bit chilly, we had a great afternoon , something for everyone we've only been here in March or November but we can imagine the place would be buzzing in the summer. The view is always stunning , and there is even a marina boat taxi - well done who ever thought of... More

The marina has the X-Factor and also X-pensive frontline shops and restaurants which is great if you're loaded. If you want better value restaurants then just step back a street or two and whilst the views aren't of X-pensive boats and beautiful people then you won't get an X-pensive bill! Save the marina for a special night or just to... More

This is a lovely place to go for a stroll. Plenty of places to eat drink and while away the hours. The yachts are to die for.

The 1000 berth Marina is an impressive sight with some seriously expensive boats moored here. Shops, restaurants and cafes surround the water with prices to suit all pockets. It's a purpose built resort with some ugly architecture, but still well worth a visit for the ambience. If the weather is fine, choose an outdoor terrace by the water, settle in... More

A long slow walk around this marina in the sunshine, guaranteed to make you feel better. Various bars and restaurants around the main marina - in summer it can seem very touristy but still a nice place to spend the day/evening.

Always visit the marina on a number of occasions wwhen in Vilamoura. I love looking at the spectacular yachts and other bboats moored here. There at eplent y of shops, bars and restaurants around the marina , more tthan enough to fill a half day visit. If you stand outside the TaiTai restaurant and look across the Marina, the outline... For a so-called world class marina with hundreds of bars, restaurants and shops, there is a totally inadequate number of open public washrooms. Spending time wandering the long prominent is far from present when the only available washroom facilities are locked tight at 11 am in the morning. I saw other shoppers wondering where to go to the loo !!

It's a pleasant enough place to walk around and admire the boats, many millions of pounds between them. Shops and restaurants are aimed at the tourists with prices to suit. Big building works going on when we were there. Shame for those in the hotel next door.
