Went to this amazing view point to witness the sunset. It was amazing. just a short drive from town. Nice caffe and toilet facilities. Good board walks and amazing view of the sea and cliffs. Definitely worth a visit.

Took the cliff walk to the lighthouse, the terrain and color of the cliffs is phenomenal, amazing. Not recommended for those with asthma or walking disabilities

Would have loved to have visited the lighthouse but it doesn't appear to cater for tourists, all fenced off with no access. A tacky cafe and a couple of touristy shops, car park nearby. Not worth a visit in my opinion although there are some...More

We visited here Sunday 14th October, it is not possible to enter the Lighthouse as it is closed off to the public. It is situated on the headland along the most dramatic and rugged coastline a short distance from the Town of Lagos. Ponta da...More

You go to the lighthouse basically to experience the walk down to the grotto. We were able to park our car because we went early in the day. It probably gets crowded later but we had a wonderful time exploring the area around the lighthouse.

Went for a drive out and enjoyed the visit. Was easy to park although it was busy, just good to say we saw it.

One moment after another of being left speechless by all the beauty this area has to offer... You can walk it on boardwalks or easier trails, or you can go for the more challenging paths and get even better views. We loved it so much...More

As there are so many others. Yet shamelessly disturbed by the 1000’s of tourists trying to drive their cars as close as possible, get out for 5 minutes to go and shoot some artificial instagram and facebook pictures including horrible fake smiles and ‘duckfaces’. Imagine...More

it's a bit of a trek. I would suggest you get the small train that runs up to the light house from the promenade by the bus garage. The train runs every 10 mins . 1.50 euro each.
