A beautiful beach with two great restaurants. We visited in early September and it was busy but by no means crowded. A lot of locals. Plenty of space and beautiful views. The beach was clean, the water very shallow and lovely to swim in.

It is so beautiful, the scenery, the water, the rocks, that I want it just for myself! Don’t come :-)

While hiking the Rota Vicentina, I saw Praia do Porto de Mos from the cliffs. The views from up top are just spectacular. It is a long strip of sandy beach where one can enjoy the sun and the cool waters of the Atlantic.

We passed by this beach while hiking from Praia da Luz to Ponta de Piedade. The beach is long and wide and perfect for sunbathing and chilling. It is also accessible by both private and public transportation. There is also a cafe and restaurant in the area.

I think this beach might be the best in Lagos. I thing praia do Camilo and Dona Ana are too small.
I like having space and seeing the Sun until it sets.
I recommend this beach.

We brought some chairs and umbrella and sat for several hours. There are a couple of food choices that were decent prices. Though water was a little chilly to get in, still had a good morning.

You can rent chairs and umbrella or lounge areas.

It was just so pretty! The dramatic rocks behind, the perfect golden sand and the clear sea were all gorgeous.
As you walk in, facing the sea there are 2 bar/restaurants - Campimar on the left and Antonios on the right. They both have sunbeds/parasols in front of them. You can just sit down and someone will come along and take payment (13Euros for 2 beds and a parasol for the day, 8Euros after 3pm).
There are loos at both of them and also public toilets across the road from the beach
At the Campimar area there was a guy who walked around asking if you wanted any food/drinks - you can pay cash or card and he'll bring it over - perfect!
We were there in early October and though sometimes it was breezy right on the water, at the sunbeds it wasnt as bad.

The sea stays shallow really far out which is nice. There's loads of surfing going on too which was fun to watch.
