As mentioned this is a small friendly museum with 'hands on' displays. There are not many but those that are there were fun and the kids enjoyed it. Very cheap at 7€ for 2 adults and 2 kids. Don't expect too much and you'll enjoy the break from the heat

A Nice place and The idea was great. We were left alone and a guided tour would have been perfect. It was so many things that didn't work, or har to understand. We saw a lot of staff but no one seemed to bother. We learned some, and it was nice but could have been a better experience.

Spent an easy two hours strolling round the museum and gardens. My kids 8 and 10 both really enjoyed the place. The interactive displays were fun for them and me. The staff were great with the kids.

Read about this on TripAdvisor so dragged my kids up to the museum after lunch. A friendly museum guide showed us around while a boy visiting from the States also showed girls how everything worked with enthusiasm and impressive know-how. The best bit was perhaps playing in the garden. The girls "built" the faro / lighthouse while I literally fell... More

Not much to see really. If you're passing by may be worth popping in. Not much more to say really. Not worth the high rating it has on TripAdvisor

Lots of interactive things to do for children - probably age 4 onwards. The outdoor gardens and play were good to let the children loose. Spent 1-2 hours here.

We visited this lovely, virtually secret science museum with our kids aged 4 and 6, looking for something to do on a non-beach day. We really found a little gem. The museum has clearly had some funds invested it recently, with plenty of activities to keep our children amused for over an hour, with Portuguese and English translation throughout. There... More

We went to get out of the rain. It doesn't take long to go round and wasn't of much interest to us. I can see that it would be interesting to smaller, inquisitive children though.

Good value for money at 3 euros per adult. Science museum concentrating on navigation and exploration due to its situation Lagos. Nice gardens as well. Definitely worth a visit.
