Came here after watching the sunrise and there were already a few people around 8-9am. The sand is nice and not full of shells like some of the surrounding beaches, water was crystal clear and clean, and the area is quaint but cosy. Quite a hike down the stairs to get there but well worth it. Also a small cave... More

This is a very picturesque beach. Not a whole lot of space, so it gets crowded, and when high tide rolls in, the space is extremely limited (pick your spot near the rear of the beach, if possible), but definitely worth a trip.

If you are going to make the trip go early and enjoy the morning before the rush. There are a lot of steps down to the beach so if you or any files your party couldn't walk up Big Ben give it a miss.

This is one of the many beautiful beaches in Lagos .Its a bit of a trek and not for the unfit but worth a look out over the bay.

What an amazing beach .Yes the steps are a little taxing but so worth it .Sea is clear and great for a swim to call off in .Take the little train to the lighthouse one day and walk back into Lagos ..a walk not to be missed .

This was my favourite beach in all of the Algarve. And i am from the Algarve, so i have seen a lot of beaches. Arrive early to get a good spot, but beware of the very icy water.

This is a serene area with lots of photo opportunities. Try to get a spot closer to the rocks, vs the ocean, especially mid day when the tide comes, as half the beach gets lost.

Went here for lunch, as we'd been the year before on a recommendation of a local Portuguese friend. Amazing food (garlic and chill prawns are to die for) with the most stunning views of the beach and beyond. It gets very busy so book ahead (and if you want a table on the terrace let them know) to avoid disappointment.

This is a little nice beach good for swimming. There's a little tunnel to another smaller beach. Possibly the best beach in Lagos! Go early otherwise you won't find a place when high tide comes!
