We walked along the edge of the cliffs of Ponta da Piedade and went to see the caves by boat also! Chose a boat ride from the one of the activity shops along Lagos marina and booked for the following day. We were a bit unlucky with the current, the sea was so choppy!! but so worth it as we... One of the most beautiful, unusual and photographic locations we've seen, both from the shoreside and on watercraft (in our case, kayaks). If you visit Lagos, this is a must-see location.

Amazing views all around and cheaps boat tours for the cave, there is alot of stairs so be prepared and bring water. Come early morning if you dont wanna go on boat tours as in the day there is lots of people and it makes stopping on the stairs for photos hard

Stunning scenery with turquoise colored water, grottos, caves, and chimney holes. Also great for scuba and paddling.

If you go to the beach near by make sure to definitely make a visit to Ponta da Piedade. The view is stunning and you get to see a couple of caves too from up high. This is the northwestern edge of Europe. Some interesting rock formations also with attached sea shells.

A lovely place, with incredible views not far from Lagos and worth taking a drive to see this magnificent place. Toilet visit is available and a little bar to enjoy a little thing.

I've lived in Lagos for several months now and whenever we have visitors or people ask what I recommend they do in this city my number one recommendation is Ponta da Piedade! Like all beautiful natural attractions it changes each time I visit and presents a new side with the sea varying from gray to deep blue to aquamarine, sometimes... More

Approaching via the coastal footpath for a walk we took the trip 'on the hoof' the guide was knowledgeable and was clearly part of the scene. No deviation from his script and no interaction with his punters. 5 to a boat and good fun, the caves are something special and should not be missed. we were dropped off at an... More
