This place is absolutely beautiful for the sunset of the morning for the beach down the cliffs.. You can also take a boat from the marina, there are a lot of choices but it's better to rent a kayak or a canoe to do it

Fantastic views not only from above the cliffs but also from the beach itself. It was my second time to Lagos and I can't imagine not going there again!

Nice arches, clear water, cold swimming (September). Lots of parking available and small kiosk... lots of people

Take the opportunity to see this site from both the water and from the cliffs above. It is a spectacular site.

My wife, two adult children and I hired a boat (Euro 15 each) to tour Ponta da Piedade. It was such a good trip, just under an hour and with many photo opportunities. We recommend this to all visiting Lagos.

The rock formations including cliffs, caves, arches, pillars and blow holes are very impressive - probably the most dramatic I've seen anywhere in the world. Definitely worth spending some time there. There's lots of local boat trips that will give you a sea level view...More

For 15 euro each this visit was well worth it. The driver of the boat was very friendly and brought us in around the amazing grottos. The views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend this event

We went on a kayak tour through the grotto's and it was worth every Euro. There are several beaches available to relax and enjoy the fantastic views.

We did a lovely coastal walk taking in the Ponta de Piedade. Beautiful coast full of sea stacks, grottos, caves etc

The most beautiful beaches I have seen are in the Algarve and I'm so glad I got to see these caves. I could honestly spend all day here. This is a must if you're anywhere near Lagos, you won't regret coming here.

It's very obvious where it starts. You genuinely can't miss it. If you're on the main road you should be able see it when traveling by car. There is one snack bar and then there is like a little port. However there is only... More

Unfortunately not for the full attraction no. There are 200 ish steps to go down if you want to go down to the bottom of the rock formations - my mum who has had foot surgery was not able to climb down (she is not in a... More
