A very well kept environment for the very happy animals that live there, cared for by very caring people and sympathetic owners. I have taken annual membership and visit as often as I can. Children love it - mine are now 26 and 30 and still enjoy a day in idyllic surroundings. Cafe very clean and caters well for he... More

We have visited this zoo about 5 times. Usually around Xmas time as they do do a really great job with the santa and all the other Xmas stuff. My thing about this zoo is that there are too many birds. My friends and I don't even look at the birds, we just try to pass them as quick as... More

We took our 10 year old granddaughter as it was a bit too cold for the pool. 35 Euro and one hour later we had seen it all. Mostly small animals. Two Ocelot, a few monkeys, snakes, Llama? That was about it. Not a lot for the price we paid. Although we would be happy enough if it went to... More

Dear Beverly....i am sorry that the weather was not good enough to have your swimming pool day out...we don`t have one and winter in the Algarve is also winter!!! We aren`t a "normal" place if you are only looking for the big 5....we are more than that!!!. Is a shame that you haven`t seen the other species that are about... More

As grand parents ever Christmas for the last two years we have taken our grandson to see Father Christmas at Natalandia, this year mum and dad came along. After a lovely trip around the zoo arrived at the grotto to find it closed between 1 and 2 what a disappointment for out grandson you should be told when you go... More

I have watched this place grow from a little bird park into a pretty fine Zoo... The Monkey Island in the middle is fabulous, as it lets the monkeys and you enjoy a lot of freedom, with no visible cages... But there is enough to enjoy around the whole park for a good couple of hours... Free parking is appreciated...... More

This is my second trip to this zoo in consecutive years. It is well maintained and well presented. I'm assuming that if you're reading this then you are okay with the caged animal thing. Well actually there's so much thought gone into the habitat design, I bet quite a few animals are pleased to be here. Food basic, bit dear... More

Dear Sir Thanks for your comment. About the food...we have a Snack bar and a Restaurant. I am sure that you have been at the Snack bar that is more fast food. About the bag, i am sorry for that but usually when people find something they bring to the reception and we always try our best to recuperate it. More

Amazing experience and a must visit for not only kids but adults too. Beautifully maintained and the place looks more like a open garden with kangaroos, different species of birds all around. This place does not look like a captivity and all the creatures seem in their own habitat. Highlight is Lucas...the Chimp....and the talking parrot, and the energetic and... More

Dear Rita...How can you be so sad?:) Maybe is not your taste but sadness is something that people and our animals don`t experience here!! More

Don't go expecting a full size zoo, but me and my wife really enjoyed it, the place isn't huge but big enough and well laid out. There are information boards at every enclosure and the place has a nice atmosphere and relaxing music piped throughout the park. Not overly expensive and well worth a trip, we visited in low season... More
