Professional, very helpful and friendly service. Boards are high quality and well maintained. It’s the best value for money you’ll get in the area and much better than renting at the beach (in case you are a beginner). We got a roof rack and wax for our boards included with the board rent and the team helped us in a heart-warming way to install the roof rack to transport the boards safely. You can also switch boards once a day, if conditions change or you want to try something else. If you’re looking for lessons, board recommendations or surf spot advice, this is the spot in Lagos. The team knows the area inside out and will provide you with high quality and pleasant support, no matter what it is you…

These guys went above and beyond and I can't recommend them highly enough. It's a bit of a tale... We borrowed two stand up paddleboards for four hours (I think it was 25 euros ish) to explore the beautiful coastline from Lagos. We arrived without a booking and managed to get a couple. The lovely woman who runs the place checked the usual safety things plus showed us a live webcam of the surf conditions and a map of coves to check out. One thing to look out for: it was cash only! You also need ID and something valuable (said ID) to leave behind. We'd actually only got a photo of our ID and a bank card to leave and they were kind enough to make an exception. They threw in life jackets and drybags for no extra cost. Off we trotted on the 8 minute walk to the beach (a bit cumbersome with the boards so do factor that in). We had a lovely half hour exploring and I'd really recommend SUPs to check out the area at your own pace. HOWEVER... Out of nowhere I got the most seasick I've ever been in my life. For the course of about 30 minutes, I was stuck in the ocean, lying on my board, vomiting my breakfast directly back into the sea. Grim. We eventually managed to paddle our way to a cove but even on dry land, I was totally gone. No idea what hit me but hey ho... We called the shop to explain and they immediately hopped in the car and came to the random beach we were at. They helped us dry off the boards, deflate them and get them in the car. After dropping those back at the shop, they then came back to give us a lift to the shop and make sure us pathetic landlubbers were safe. So kind and thoughtful and without a snarky word or disgusted glance despite our ridiculous condition... Please do visit these guys and give them your business - you never know if you're going to need rescuing!…

My wife and I bought our new Boards at this place and we really appreciated the help to figure out the best boards for us. We could even test the boards before buying - that’s very uncommon for a surfboard shop but helps a lot! The Magic Board Center offers nice boards for a good price with an outstanding consultancy. If you want to buy a board in Portugal, go to this place!…
