The marina at Lagos is near the bus and the train stations, the taxis are about a half mile distant down the main street as you cross the foot bridge. The main street is one of two, this one has dozens of tent covered trinket booth, the other is in the town and is mostly stores. There is tons of Portuguese Cork product available, and if you are lucky you will get to listen to the street musicians signing their songs.

Toilet trouble

The marina is a great place to eat/drink and watch the world go by. I have written many reviews for the marina… However the toilets for the general public are inadequate. Today in the woman’s toilet 2 out of 4 toilets were closed off and in the mens 3/4 were closed/not accessible. There are other toilets but these are limited to boat owners (which is understandable) but not to have full basic toilet facilities is appalling. This needs addressing urgently as guests will not come back. And on a positive note, this is a great place to visit…. Just get the ablutions in order!

Stunning marina with a wide variety of restaurants and bars

Lagos Marina is stunning, really nice place for a quiet walk or breakfast / lunch. Many restaurants, cafes and bars are located in the marina. Many boat trip and attractions here to visit and do also. A few small shops also are located at the marina, along with restrooms.

Lovely marina

Great to walk around and watch the beautiful boats. Also, hundreds of fish swimming around.
We sat in the main marina and had a refreshing drink whilst watching the world go by.
Absolutely lovely.

Huge marina

with yachts galore in clear waters. Big fish swimming In the marina. A small area devoted to colourful fishing boats. A number of cafes lined the marina and clean public toilets available. Good place for a cuppa and relax.

Amazing place

Amazing marina with the beautiful surrounding and views. We took there some cruise to the caves along the ocean shore. It was breathtaking

Not a clean place

Dog owners come to the marina to make their dog defecate all day long. Walking around the marina you will see at least a dozen dogs doing it.

There is no police around so the dogs are not on leech.

More than half the dog owners do not clean after their dog so everywhere you see you will see dog excrement on the pavement.

It's just a unclean place. Not maintained at all. I would seriously advise you not to spend your hard earn money on a vacation in Lagos.

The beach also if full of dog excrement everywhere.

Lagos marina is a small pearl of its kind

Located in the heart of the Algarve, Lagos Marina is surrounded by restaurants, bars and good-quality accommodation. It is located on the Bay of Lagos, among the best beaches in the Algarve, it has the privilege of being right in the heart of portuguese Discoveries' hometown.

A really good marina which is easy to get to

There is a lot of bars and restaurants to sit and relax in which over look the marina. Very busy place as most of the coast tours leave from here. Just a lovely spot
