we booked a shared 8 seater shuttle with hoppa could not find them on arrival was informed they were outside beyond the taxis. had to wait 40 minutes for our bus to arrive then we were drivento a different destination for the 2 others on the bus why they cannot put 8 people on the bus going to the same destination is beyond me .we have used them 4 times same thing each time. on a good point their drivers are excellent.

Looking for airport transfers in Lisbon? GreenBus was the company we used, booked via travel consultant.

Prompt friendly drivers and if you request someone that speaks the local language there is no extra charges. The two drivers we met spoke good English and gave us a bit of a commentary about Lisbon as well.

We had a bit of an issue with our booking through miscommunication but this was sorted out and there were no mishaps after that. So good on you GreenBus.

Arrived at airport, huge queue at desk and extremely busy waiting area. Waited over an hour for a drive. People around us had been waiting even longer than that. Whole area was chaotic. However, driver collected us from hotel in plenty of time, as I had asked to be collected an hour early than originally planned (advised due to airport rework).

What a service

Paid for the journey to the hotel and back as we got off the plane, at the airport. Journey there was fine, no issues, got a bit lost but the place was in the middle of nowhere so it’s cool.

The way BACK LOL, so we were told to call the day before to reserve a time and confirm we still wanted to go ahead with the taxi, no probs. Called the company in the morning to be put on hold for ages, then transferred 3 times to different people who had no idea what was going on and said a refund will be sorted. Right lovely. Until I never heard from them again. After having paid IN ADVANCE for both journeys they have some balls to just not sort the return journey out. Bruh. How can you run a company like this and STILL be in business?

Anyway just paid for another taxi back to the airport and then followed up with emails to try and get a refund, no luck lol

Myself and my partner checked in with Greenbus. We were then told to wait at the side of the check in for our names to be called. We waited while other peoples names were called. Ours were never called. We complained after 50 minutes of waiting and were then told our names had been called out. This was completely untrue. They were then extremely rude and refused to organise us another transfer and told us we had to pay again. Extremely rude and hateful people, it was scary. The manager wouldn't even speak to us, and they gave us a look of disgust. We have never been treated so horrendously in our lives. It's November now and we still haven't received refunds. They don't even respond to emails and we've had to deal with ShuttleDirect directly instead. I urge people to avoid this disgusting, dishonest, thieving company at all costs. You are taking a big risk with their incompetence.

Sunday 27th August: Arrived in Faro airport, on-time. Unfortunately with many other flights, so long queues through passport control and the baggage hall was in total chaos. As a consequence of this we arrived at GreenBus desk over 1 hour after landing (having stood in their queue for 30 mins).
We saw many customers walking away in anger and wondered what was going on.

We arrived at desk to be told because we were 1 hour late driver had been released and we had no taxi to Spain (1 hour away). We asked for help to go later and were told absolutely not. My wife then asked for desk manager to help us and he got angry and aggressive towards her, so much so, we had to get the police involved.
Greenbus completely refused to help and we then got to resort by going to Thompson desk and they allowed us on their transfer bus.

Called and put claim into Hoppa for a refund £97 and were denied any refund.

Disgraceful customer service, horrible Greenbus staff at desk and will never use either of these businesses again.

I have used this service previously without any problem. In May 2017, we arrived to be told that there would be a slight delay for our executive transfer. This 'delay; lasted just over 2 hours during which time we stood outside in extreme heat. Due to the length of the queue there was no shade where we waited along with at least 30-40 other people. Finally, we reached the desk to be told that as we were late (we had not been late when we joined the queue) there was no car available. The person at the desk pointed to a taxi rank and told us we would have to take a taxi and contact them for a refund when we returned. This we did and 7 months later, despite numerous phone calls and emails, and a request that we send them our bank details to enable then to pay the refund, a total of 51 euros, we are still waiting. Given other travellers have also complained about lack of refunds, this is clearly something this company is in the habit of doing. We will never use them again and would definitely advise others to avoid.

Me my wife and three children were left stranded at 5.30 in the morning as the bus did not turn up.
We phoned the emergency line and the very rude operator told us they did not have a bus available and to get a taxi. The fare had already been paid and pick up time confirmed. Please do not use this company ,they are a sham.

i travelled with shuttledirect who sub contract green bus in june. long long story short... the bus was late arriving to arrivals, which is outside the arrivals exit. then the driver did not know where to drop off the first couple and had to ring head office. leaving us and the remaining three couples sitting on a stationary bus for twenty mins. then second couple were dropped off in portimaio then our drop off was next, only being a ten minute drive, as we had been there before. he again had to ring head office as he did not know which resort came first alvor or where the last couple were going which was lagos it took all told from 1.15 to 3.30pm to our apartment....??the return journey home was worse. the bus did not arrive and the hotel reception rang shuttledirect for us, who said they had rang my phone and the hotels phone (did not happen) to say the bus had broken down and that they could not get incontact with us...! the hotel then had to ring favouritestransfers for us, they were very good and told us that green bus had a bad reputation, we had only an hour to get to the airport to book in, but fair play, the driver got us there, with minutes to spare. i am not joking when i tell you that i had to pay an extra 90 euros for this extra transfer and was promised by shuttledirect, by phone that we would get a FULL refund. well many e-mails later, and ready to pull my hair out, they said it was green buses fault not theirs, and as they could not reach green bus to find out had happened?? they would only re enburse us 33.46euros which is a loss for us of 56.54euros.i am still e-mailing both shuttledirect and greenbus , but i think i am going to left wanting. so again tread carefully. love to see if i get a response from either, by this e-mail....

This company left my family stranded in Lagos when the driver did not show for the return pick up to Faro airport.

I booked via Hoppa, a company I had used many times before and wasn't aware that they sub contracted to Greenbus, a local firm.

They have a stand/office at Faro Airport and when we arrived for the outward journey I joined a massive queue of people waiting to be allocated their driver/vehicle. Not the friendliest of greetings when I got to the front but was told to wait again while she got the driver. There were so many people waiting at this stage one of their employees came out and asked all the waiting families to move to the window to allow the airport to function.

Our driver could not find the address we were staying at in his sat-nav so pulled over and shrugged his shoulders. He didn't speak English but I tried to give him the step by step instructions I was given. We arrived at the road our property was situated in, off a fairly major road and then we took 10 minutes to find the property.

Pick up was arranged for 11am on the Tuesday we were returning home. With at least an hour on the road this was fairly tight for a 14:10 flight but I relied on their local expertise. I confirmed the pick up time the day before as instructed.

At 11:15, with no sign of our driver I called the number given, this took 40 mins to answer. In the meantime my wife got on to arranging us a Plan B in case they didn't show.

When I eventually got through it took a further 10 minutes to contact the driver and for me to be updated. He was still 30 minutes away, which meant he would arrive about 90 minutes before our flight time and the estimated journey time was 70 minutes. They had completely stitched up my family and left us stranded.

Gentlebees taxi firm saved us, a driver who said he got a lot of business from when Greenbus.pt did not show up. My family of 6 had to run from the taxi and made the flight with seconds to spare, after pleading with the flight company to accept our cases. They too were familiar with Greenbus.

When I got back, Greenbus refused to reimburse me the €100 for the additional taxi expense as I didn't get a receipt. Had I stopped for a receipt we would have definitely missed the plane and I'd have been looking at £2,000 in new plane fares.

I made a comment on their social media page and Greenbus spent the whole day arguing with me on that most public forum. They accused me of calling the wrong number which is why I waited 40 minutes for them to answer. I called the only one I had. They apparently give priority to their emergency line, and it sounds like they have a lot of callers to that number.

Hoppa has given me a full refund after I made comments on their social media pages. However, nothing takes away from the stress of being stranded in a foreign land with my family of 6.

My advice, for what it's worth, AVOID GREENBUS AT ALL COSTS.
