They did what was said on the tin. Thumbs up. Why fill in more blurb, when the trip just happened, met rep at airport, and travelled in shuttle

Arrived late evening at Faro approached the transfer desk to be told that they did not have a booking for us we had confirmed & paid for transfer paperwork, they were very rude & unhelpful, got no answer from the HOOPA telephone lines. So spoke to the Faro Airport Tourist office they organised a different transfer co Best4U they were excellent. So Hoppa were prepared to abondon two, 72 year old pensioners stranded at Faro airpor late evening. This was our Golden wedding anniversar holiday & it was ruined by HOPPA. Tried many times to get recompense from HOPPA but so far have only had excusses & lies in response. DO NOT USE

Our flight was scheduled to arrive at 10.05 am. We landed just before 9.30. Because there were no steps available we did not leave the plane until 9.50. Our luggage did not arrive in baggage reclaim until 10.45. At 10.10 the rep phoned to see where we were. We explained the situation, we were still waiting for our luggage. He said they could not wait much longer for us and the transfer would have to leave without us. The rep rang again at 10.30. to inform us that the shuttle was leaving. There would not be another one until 7.00pm. We were obviously annoyed about the situation as we had already paid for this so-called service and did not expect this after an early morning start and a long journey. We collected our luggage at 10.45. In the arrival hall we looked for the Greenbus/Flybus desk as mentioned on our voucher. There was no such desk. At this point (10.50) the rep rang again to say that there would be space for us on a shuttle leaving at 12. We accepted this. The small print advises to make contact within an hour of landing, which we would have done had the rep not rung after 40 minutes. What this company is not taking into account is the fact that landing is not disembarking. The delay in our leaving the plane followed by the delay in reclaiming our luggage were completely out of our control, yet this was not taken into account at all. The scheduled arrival time was 10.05, which means that the transfer should have been available until 11.05. Had this been the case we would have been in plenty of time.

We were at Pinecliffs in September 2019 with 120 people (different flight times though) and booked the airport transport with Greenbus. The initial booking was without any problems, but I had to keep emailing them for the invoice. After 4 emails I finally got the answer that I would get the invoice the Wednesday before our departure (Sunday). I told them that I might have problems getting them paid through our system on time, but they wouldn’t budge. So we ended having to do a faster payment from the UK to Portugal. On Sunday the first cab showed up, but the second never showed. When I tried to call their 24hr emergency line that was on my order confirmation and at the end of every email as well as on their website I couldn’t get through to anyone. 3 of us tried for 30 min. We gave up and ordered an Uber. By that time my weekend was ruined as I was worried how to get the 70 people to the airport that I booked on 2 buses for the afternoon. I tried calling their office and emergency line but couldn’t get through. Finally, I received an email from my contact complaining that the guests didn’t show up for the 2nd pick up. I replied straight away saying that we were waiting outside the hotel for 10 minutes before the pick-up time and 30 minutes after. Also, I asked them to call me urgently to confirm the bus pick-ups. Nothing. When I finally got an email saying that they can’t call me and if I have problems, I should call the emergency number, it had a different signature (Weekend Target instead of Greenbus) and a different 24hr emergency number. That number actually worked, and somebody picked up straight away. The 2 buses came roughly on time and the last pick up was 10 minutes late. I will use Yellow Fish next year as they don’t let us down and answer their phone straight away.
