Quite and the beach is buitiful but it is the Atlantic ocean and so the waves can be bit and the water very cold. However the walk along the beach and the boardwalk is relaxing.

Visited as part of a boat trip within the Ria Formosa park. Lovely island with virtually no one on it (hence deserted). Beautiful beaches on the lagoon side. Very peaceful. One cafe for drinks and toilets. No shade so be careful on a hot day.
