.... and this is one of them. Plenty of boats to look at and get envious over, bars and restaurants surrounding it, one particular pizza place which is very reasonable and great value, and just an overall feeling of happiness being by the water in such a wonderful city.

Other reviews would have you think this is Mykonos or Monaco Marina, it certainly is not. Set next to a busy road and a railway line it’s tiny with just ordinary folks boats in it and a few cafe/restaurants around it. Personally I wished we never had bothered

Well, you are not in Monte Carlo! Absolutely not! But this is Faro and its "Marina", although smaller and modest, has its charm and attractions. Stroll along its sidewalks, enjoy the view, the inumerous boats and the bronze statues. Restaurants and cafés are easily reached and "Vila Adentro", the old town of Faro, is just a few steps away. Enjoy!

We were lucky enough to be staying adjacent to this area. It was a lovely area of Faro and it was also good to people watch. Worth a visit if you are in the area and there are plenty of boat trips you can take out onto the water. We used www.estreladariaformosa.com.and took the 1/2 day tour to see dolphins and stop at 2 islands..

A great place in Faro to just sit back and enjoy life. While staying in Faro, I would spend most early evenings sitting outside Cafe Do Coreto having a drink enjoying my views. Lovely little marina.

These days Doca de Faro is basically the marina for this coastal city. If you like looking at boats, then you will enjoy visiting. If you visit the Arco da Vila, then, after you walk under it, you will see Doca de Faro in front of you and to your left.

While staying in Faro for a longer period, you will have enough time to take long walks by its seaside. "Doca de Faro" offers lovely views of the sea, the boats, the fishermen ... You will certainly enjoy its typical Portuguese atmosphere and the natural beauty. Bring your camera and take as many photos as possible. Fond memories to take home! Enjoy!

Faro Marina is quite small but very nice to walk around. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby to have refreshments.

This is a small Marina, but quite attractive, plenty of places to go and have a drink and a bite to eat and watch the activity in the Marina. Well worth a visit.
