Super little place down quite a lot of steps but worth it when you get there. Enjoyed just a snack but it was delicious.

A very beautiful hidden cove with an interesting walk to the caves which is very fascinating. A wonderful place to sit down and watch the Sun go down. My kids enjoyed it thoroughly so did we. Definitely a must visit place if you are around this region.

We managed fine . 3 adults and children aged 6 and 3. Once down there you have caves,... More

If you want an elegant lunch with wonderful food, service and views then you must visit Algar Seco. Set overlooking the caves and sea of Carvoeiro, this is a beautiful spot for a lovely meal where the service is genteel and views specular. Don't miss a visit here every dish is delightful.

While away a couple of hours strolling the boardwalk and exploring the cliffside landscape. The sedimentary rock is victim to the sea's awesome and relentless sculpting power but also to man's hewing of staircases to provide access to the lower levels. Go now - before the rock is worn away to nothing...

Well worth a visit, walking along the boardwalk from Carvoeiro. Walking down towards the bar there are superb views.

We spent 5 nights at Algar Seco and it was so great to wake up with magnificent views of the sea. We stayed in a very comfortable two bed apartment. There are so many lovely restaurants within walking distance we were spoilt for choice. Will certainly be returning.
