Great caves

Not recommended for the unfit. Gorgeous caves and views but a lot of steps involved. Stop at the bar for some refreshments before climb back up. Connects with Carvoeiro boardwalk.

Beautiful rocks with steps to let you access a cliff jump into the sea or a lovely bar. Worth a visit, stunning views.

This was our first stop in the Algarve on our 3-day long weekend trip in late May and is one of our favourites. Although most of the coastline has limestone cliffs, there are few places where you can visit the rock formations. This is one of them. You can easily spend 1-3 hours walking around on the rocks, some of... More

We walked around the cliff tops and saw the amazing views as well as intriguing rock formations. The Boneco bar looked nice but not cheap. Definitely worth a visit or a stroll there along the boardwalk from Carvoeiro

Very picturesque but not much can be done without the appropriate footwear. An expensive restaurant at the bottom. Not a place to go with young children who want to go swimming but can't.

About 10 mins walk uphill from Carvoeiro centre. Wouldn't recommend from elderly people as some spot quite dangerous. Visited with my family in June 2016 and took some lovely pictures etc. This would be for thrill seekers and we have a couple in our family......nice to see the caves, steps through the rocks and the views are great.
