The most beautiful views at the top. I can imagine it would be the perfect place to watch the sunset. You can get the escalator to the top, there’s also a restaurant at the top.

This location is well known by taxi and Tuk Tuk drivers as as drop off point for people visiting Albefuira Old Town and from here you get excellent views of the white buildings and the stretches of sand for the resort. It is also the location of the top of the escalators that then take you down to the main Fisherman’s beach and the start of all the bars and restaurants.

Overlooking the coastal town of Albufeira, the Pau da Bandeira overlook is a stunning place to visit any time of day, but especially at sunset. The white, flat-topped buildings of Albufeira give it a Greek Islands look that is simply indescribable with an orange hue behind it. There are escalators that will take you up and back down if you are in the lower part of town, and there is a parking garage close by. A word of caution for non-Portuguese speakers: the green word 'Livre' on garage signs does not mean the parking is free in the monetary sense, only that it is currently available.

Stunning view of the coastline and Old Town. Picturesque blue water. We walked about a mile from our apartment, so we were grateful there were places to sit and just relax. It was a warm and sunny day, but the breeze was refreshing. A great viewpoint to discover if you’re in the area.

Beautiful view from up top and a great day to spend a beach day. Here you will still find the beautiful cliffs! The further down the coast the beautiful cliffs disappear so soak them in while you can!

The views from here are amazing. You can see right over Fisherman's Beach. The land train stops here and the escalators take you down into the old town. Theres a shaded seating area which is nice to sit and watch the world go by.

Very good and accessible viewpoint. I love it that there are scalators connecting the viewing point to the center of the city. So you do not have to get tired climbing stairs. They should do the same in Lisbon.

Good views of the Atlantic towards the Praia Alemaes in the east and Praia Peneco in the west. Sunsets can be viewed at this point.
