the pavements are just little squares just like cobbles they are not even, there were a few places closed but expected that, the traffic some drivers thought they were on a motorway flying down the strip, there are some nice places to eat and drink and watch sport, there are also some places being refurbished or just closed for winter,... Bars and pubs all the way down some are better than others! lots of touts but they tend to leave you alone if you decline. Top end is slightly more tame and as you progress down it the bars get louder. Can be quite dirty at times during the night however during the day its all cleaned down. Overall a... More

Not much was open for the new year week but few more places opened Up for the New Year's Eve party. Whilst strolling up and down the strip we were often stop and asked if we wanted drugs, made me feel quite uneasy. This made our holiday stay worse after being in the Vila Nova apartments at the top of... More

Just returned from Albuferia. Visited the strip on a few occasions, have been during the summer where everything is open and is much livlier but still enough open during the winter to enjoy a few drinks and some food in the area.

Been coming here for years and have seen The Strip deteriorate quite badly. Dead in the winter months and the early season is when all the stags and hens start turning up. Then it's very noisy throughout the summer with all the usual antics going on, drunks shouting, throwing up, bumping into other people and fighting. The shops are full... More

Some souvenir shops and pubs are open but it looked more like a ghost town. It's better to go to the old town during winter/low season as most pubs are shut.

It might be a great happening place in Summer but we were disappointed in our recent visit in November, as most of the restaurants / pubs were closed or very quiet. Just thought to add this review, so that people going in Winters do not take high hopes with this place.

The Strip is full of restaurants, bars, discos, casinos, DJs, live bands and colourful lights. It's full of revellers and holiday makers of all ages. We had some great nights here on the strip and we would like to return to Montechoro and its Strip in the near future. If you are Albufeira you've got to see and feel the... More
