Victor, our host, was amazing. Super nice and very informative; however, this course was not at all what we expected. The description lead us to believe that WE would make the gelato and come away with a recipe that we could make at home. Not at all. We (myself and 3 friends) cut and juiced the lemons and hulled the strawberries. THAT WAS IT. Victor did the rest as we watched. He used a commercial $40k Euros machine to make the gelato. So not worth the money we paid.
I would not recommend this to anyone except for those wishing to get in the business and purchase the machine.

Hello. Thank you for the good feedback of myself. The experience is being inside a professional lab. The recipes, as i explained, can be made at home and i can share some recipes with you. Cute shop and could have been so much more worth the money paid. Some flavours more tasty than others. Strawberry and lemons were used for 2 of the recipes. Disappointed that powdered Nesquick was used for chocolate recipe.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable about the making of gelato and the commercial aspects of starting a gelato business . This course is for commercial use and not personal enjoyment.
Very disappointed , our group was looking for instructions and recipes to create gelato at home .

Best experience in Albufeira ever. Teacher is a cool guy very clever.
