Great scenic area

Great place to explore the beautiful beaches . Worth hiring paddle board or canoe etc to explore the sealine and beaches. Alternatively take a boat tour .

Praia Gale is a nice beach, big with nice sand and smooth entrance into the water. But after seeing other beaches like Sao Rafaelo, Castelo or Coelha, this was a bit more average for us.

Really lovely beach, very long, good for walk. Nice and clean sand. A lot of big rocks on the beach and caves in some of them. This is really unbelievable. Not busy in September what is good. Really recommend it.

Beach was less prob about 5 minutes walk from our hotel. It is better if you walk down the beach away from the sun beds as the sand is cleaner and the beach is less busy and plenty more space. Was lovely and relaxing and sand nice and soft.

Wonderful sandy beach and with the tide out the depth of the beach is really wide with loads of solid walkable sand with lots of people just walking along the waters edge. Easy parking as beach is very accessible

This beach has everything you'd ever want. It has great restaurants, fine sand, nice rock formations for stunning pictures, a smooth entry in the sea, higher water temperatures than everything around it, no seashells to cut your feet. You can stay on the main beach that stretches for a while or you can go to the more private areas of... More

This is a stunning beach with lots of facilities including water sports, sun beds and umbrellas and some great places for lunch or just a coffee or ice cream. Long beach and good for a walk.

Sometimes you can see few surfers riding waves. Big rocks on the beach to keep in the shade. Be careful of the tide

I love this beach!! Although not private it has the feeling of being your own special beach. The sand is clean and the sea is just lovely to swim in. Life guards watch over you and are on patrol to make sure everyone is safe. You can hire deck chairs with shade at €15 for 2 which I recommend. There... More
