Our 3 boys (ages 11, 13 & 15) took 3 lessons during our week in Olhos de Agua and they really loved it! All the instructors were friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Thanks to the whole crew - instructors and friendly staff at the ticket office. Our boys were complete beginners and they all managed to catch their own wave during the first lesson.

We had an amazing two hour lesson today. And I can honestly say it was the most learning I ever done in a surf lesson. I stood up on a board today for the very first time today.
The whole lesson plan was very well structured and had very good building blocks to help us reach the final goal. which was to catch a wave, stand up, and surf to the beach.
The instructor was also very calm and had a relaxed energy, which was very helpful.
Highly recommended 👌

It was our first time snorkelling and had a great experience. The instructor was very helpful and showed us the technique. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my brother went for the beginners surf lesson and from beginning to end it was brilliant, luckily it was just the two of us this day so we could really benefit from the lesson. Nuno is a amazing teacher with lots of knowledge and kept it fun( even though I had swallowed half the ocean lol )
I would highly recommend this experience or any others experiences with nuno as he even picks you up and takes you back to the hotel if you are staying out of albuferia which the other surf schools don’t. Your lesson is 2 hours long all wetsuits and surfboard provided.
you start with few stretches, then practice in the sea without the board to work with the waves, practice the key steps of how to get up on the board on dry land and then your a pro haha - I actually managed to stand up a few times - which I was super happy about and it feels amazing to catch a wave.
I’m now hooked and will look to surf regularly and will deffo be returning to nuno for the 5 day surf school when I return to vilamoura. Thank you for the amazing photos you took and sent to me and for getting my shells haha

Such a great and beautiful spot to have surfing lessons right on Praia da Falésia. The instructors were really knowledgeable, friendly and funny and got us up and standing after a few pointers. The only downsides were: when we arrived they gave my son the wrong sized wetsuit so he really struggled getting it on as it was really tight, instead of helping us out one of the older staff members (who I assume was the owner) decided to ridicule him a couple of times in front of everyone (including passers by) that he needed help dressing himself. My son struggles with his dexterity and this really dented his overall experience of surfing (and wearing a wet suit) for the first time and it really knocked his confidence. To have a compete stranger say things like that to him wasn’t appropriate or funny. The only other downside was the payment options it was cash, PayPal or revolut which isn’t stated on their website. I’m not sure who takes that much cash around with them (€35 euros each) so was a little disappointed for them not to atleast take a card payment for a payment over €100.

It's amazing!!! I had the best time of my live. At the beginning you try catch waves with your body than you learn position on the board
in the beach and than you go to the ocean. Instructor help you catch waves. I love it and I really enjoyed it. Great pick up, great instructor, very friendly atmosphere. We were 3 times because we love it so much and it was the best part of holiday.

It's the best surfing place that you can go, instruktors are great, friendly and kind, beach is beautiful and if you aren't near to the beach a pick up is a good solution. I was very excited and I realy enjoyed it, it was the best part of my holidays and I'm gonna come again.

We were a group of 5 friends and we took a 2h lesson with Albufeira Surf Adventure, the booking was very easy and stress free. We had the chance to be on our own in this session.
The lesson was great, the instructor was super nice and quickly adapted to our heterogeneous surfing level (some of us knew how to stand up already), she showed us the basics then focused a bit more on the people who needed a bit more technique, then let us took waves more independently. We had a great time in the water, the instructor stayed with us at all time and was filming us with a gopro, also showing us which waves were good to take, where to go and how to enhance our technique.
20min before the end of the session we got out of the water and took some really cool pictures all together and did a yoga session with some stretching.
I highly recommended them for surfing lessons!!

Myself and several of my friends who are beginner surfers took a lesson with Nuno and his staff at Albufeira Surf Adventure. The teaching was excellent and more importantly, FUN! They use a GoPro to take action photos of the session and their customer service and response time was impeccable. Nuno was such a great teacher that several of us came back on a second day. Thank you!

Hi - we need cheap accomadation and the idea is that my son and possibly myself learn to surf the wave. We have never done this before. My daughter booked flights only for us and I have no idea what or where to go as I have never been to Portugal before. Please could you help me as my daughter has done her best to interest me but I don't have the money to pay until arrival as waiting on money before we leave England at the last minute. We land in Faro quite late at around 8-9 at night so need safe airport transfer to where ever we might book or provisionally book. I haven't been on holiday with my son for 2 years and we just want to have fun and relax in the sun together. we will be travelling light please can you advise and find some thing well under £300.00 for us?
