While the ruins themselves are not so spectacular, the interesting thing is that they are located right in the city hall!

This free attraction is worth a quick peek. It’s not obvious to find- search for town hall and the receptionist will point you in the right direction. They have info pamphlets at the door where you can read a very brief history of the baths.

Great find INSIDE of city hall. Great flyer from info booth just inside the building. Be sure to look at the fresco just in the room right of pool and on the back facing wall.

These baths were discovered inside city hall during some renovations in the 1980s. I found it fascinating that in the middle of this building that had already been in use for a hundred years, they found it had been built over the Roman baths. If...More

This is a little hard to find (there are no signs directing you to it) but it is worth seeking out. It's the remains of the Roman baths that existed in Evora and it was discovered inside a contemporary office building (Camara?) It's not far...More

The phone was telling us we were right there and we even went inside the town hall but never saw anything. We looked all around the square for signs. Since I never suspected the baths were inside the building, I didn't really ask.

Hidden within the municipal building and not signed. Worth a quick two minute look and free to do so.

Hidden inside the town offices. If you are walking by pop in and see but not worth looking for. You can only see through a glass window in the ground floor finer examples elsewhere

The Roman baths are interesting to look at, but, not wonderful. See them if you are in the vicinity, but not worth spending money to specially see it.
