A small park filled with flowerbeds with views of the roman temple one way and views over the wall to the Alentejo countryside the other way. A perfect spot to take in the sunset and marvel at the wonders Evora has to offer
This very pretty square is one of the centers of town and you will probably come here. Unfortunately the fabulous Roman ruin was covered for restoration while we were there. Cafes and museums surround.
If you're looking to take a break after walking through Evora there aren't too many better spots that this garden. Most of the benches are shaded and have great views of the temple. You're also perched high on top of Evora's outer wall.
