The garden faces the Temple of Diana, and is just across the road from in. There are wide pathways with flowerbeds, lawns and numerous statues and pieces of artwork. There is a café/kiosk at its entrance where you can have a coffee and snack. There is a very nice view from the bottom of the garden.

This tranquil little garden is behind the ruins of the roman temple. The view of the plains north of Evora is quite nice from here. On the west side of the garden is an impressive historical building with two coat of arms in stone, nowadays it is a police station. On the eastern side we found a little café in the courtyard, next to it is the tiny church of Sao Joao Evangelista with Gothic entrance.

Right next to the famed Roman Temple is this lovely little public park. There are some beautiful statues and trees, but the real highlight is the view of the city. Worth a stop for a few minutes!

This very pretty square is one of the centers of town and you will probably come here. Unfortunately the fabulous Roman ruin was covered for restoration while we were there. Cafes and museums surround.

You can enjoy a very nice view from there or you can just sit on a cafe and have a drink. It is very relaxing.

This is a nice little park, clean gardens, and a good place to rest and take some photos of the Temple and also of the city below.

A small park filled with flowerbeds with views of the roman temple one way and views over the wall to the Alentejo countryside the other way. A perfect spot to take in the sunset and marvel at the wonders Evora has to offer

If you're looking to take a break after walking through Evora there aren't too many better spots that this garden. Most of the benches are shaded and have great views of the temple. You're also perched high on top of Evora's outer wall.

There is an advantage to have a peaceful setting where a traveler can relax or take a break from seeing the sites. This lovely little park provides the residents and travelers with one. With Roman ruins adjacent to the park and a nice view out over the town and countryside, one can take a nice break here. There's a kiosk that serves refreshments, although I didn't avail of their offerings.

Nice for a break - there is a cafeteria inside - and also I saw at least 10 peacocks too - making a lot of noise as they do but also part showing off their beautiful feathers.
