A beautiful example of a mix of Romanesque and Gothic and one of the most important in Portugal. The interior is classic of these two styles as well as the exterior which blends the two perfectly. The cloister is also included in the ticket price...More

Must got to the roof! The view was amazing! Go to the roof first then tour the rest of the church. Definitely worth the fee.

Go ahead and buy the ticket for everything. Start with the walk up to the top. It is arduous, but worth it. Then do the church and cloisters. End with the museum. All totally worth it. There is a little cafe at the end of...More

We made a quick visit here while walking around the town. Lots of interesting ruins to see. Good town to stop on your drive to Madrid.

Well worth going for the whole deal, the roof visit is great, but very narrow staircase to the top. The main cathedral is outstanding.

The guard here was quite rude giving the start of our visit a bad flavor. The whole place has the feeling of a for-profit business more than a holy cathedral. It is worth visiting but a lot less than what we had expected.
