After we have finished our visit of the “Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Dores”, we are going uphill on by the “Rua de Antonio Tomas Pires” doing so we arrive on the “Largo da Misericórdia” and here we have the “Church and formal hospital of the misericord”. This is a building with a great architectural value, the church is dating from the 16th century and is operating actually as a museum of contemporary art. From here we are going uphill by the left side of the church, and can have a break for lunch in the restaurant “Dom Armando” who is on your right in the “Rua da Cadeia”, you can read our review on the restaurant on TripAdvisor. And in front of the restaurant is our next object on the village tour.
