Nice to see the local people enjoying themselves with their own families as well as holiday makers. There are no hotels in Playa San Juan which keeps the Spanish feeling. There are many good restaurants with good prices. This was our second time in Playa San Juan but in a different apartment.

Playa San Juan is a small working town with some fabulous restaurants. Well worth a visit. We always rent a holiday let here away from the crowds in large resorts.....ideal for us who like Spanish bars & people friendly, quiet but plenty going on around the marina and lovely promenade around the coast.

This little town is a gem. A great beach, an abundance of good cafes and restaurants and not yet overrun by tourists.

So if you want all the razzmatazz of loud music and all that goes with it, do not come here, but if you want to relax in a tranquil setting and enjoy the sun this is... More

This town has its act together making the most of a shingle beach and adjacent port area with views of Teide and beachfront walks and bars.

Although there is generally a stony approach into the sea, there are plenty of 'duck boards' for prams & wheelchairs to get close to the sea as well as soft dark volcanic sand higher up the beach. There are plenty of loungers & umbrellas along the beach as well as changing huts and showers. With several bars and restaurants nearby,... More

The promenade past the harbour, along the beaches and up and along the cliff is always a great place for a stroll. Plenty of bars to stop of at for a coffee or a beer or something to eat ... or all three Always impressed with how well maintained the beeches are. Clean, no litter and lifeguards on duty during... St Juan is a small town with big ambitions. The harbour area and beach are for relaxing. Take a walk nearly all the way to Fontsalia until you are stopped by the new construction that may be connected to the new port I am not sure. Demolition of a church and town square just to create a car park is... More

Definately worth a visit. A picturesque small town. We spent quite a while walking around the roads. A pretty walk along the seafront. Despite the works in the square it certainy did not detract from the visit. We had coffee opposite the harbour which was quiet and relaxing. A complete contrast from the busy resorts.

A very nice small beach, with cafe's, restaurants along the promenade, lovely for a walk and coffee, one day we watched the fishermen unloading Tuna fish.
