Marina
Jun 2020 • Friends
There's a small but nice marina here, well organized and clean, nice for a stroll around on a sunny day, and various cafes around here too

Easy overnight travel from Hull to Zeebrugge.
Nov 2019
Easy travel from Hull by overnight ferry. Good road and rail connections to all countries of Continental Europe, from Zeebrugge. Easy port to leave when you come off your ferry.

A busy freight and ferry port
Jun 2019
Our cruise ship berthed here primarily so that passengers could undertake shore excursions to Brugge or Brussels. We went to Brussels.
However, before we disembarked for the Brussels tour and when we returned to the ship after the tour we had the opportunity to observe the coming and going of a number of different types of vessels from this port.
Basically this is a seaport which caters mainly for container ships and other freighters as well as a number of vehicle and passenger ferries to and from a range of different European ports. It also welcomes cruise ships such as ours.
It was our observation that the facilities available to cruise ship passengers are somewhat rudimentary. The port is simply a place where passengers can transfer on the wharf between the cruise ship and the tour coaches in preparation for their tours to attractions in other parts of Belgium.

Good Stop for Chocolate Lovers
Jun 2019 • Couples
No need to go into Bruges to get Belgium chocolate. My husband and I wanted to walk around near the cruise port and easily found The Chocolate Factory. It felt like we were walking in the back door but it opened up to a large room full of well organized tables and shelves. You can buy prepackaged Belgium chocolates or create your own mix in a box or bag. All are labelled for ease of choice and there are lots of samples. Sugar free, Gluten free and organic chocolate available, as are Marzipan and fruit jellies. For the liberally minded there is a small corner that sells chocolate boobs and one other erect masculine body part. There are some antique chocolate making tools on display too. Hard to walk away without a taste and a treat for later.

Connecting Zeebrugge to Brugge
Apr 2019 • Friends
Zeebrugge is a busy cruise port where cruise ship calls in a lot of European itinerary. Though the port itself doesn't have interesting places to visit, nearly all the cruise passengers leave the ship and visit the cities nearly. Brugge, an old city with lots of water courses and beautiful architectures, is the most favourable city to visit.. At first, I and my friends planned to go there by train. However, there is a shuttle service right inside the cruise terminal costing 20Euro return. The bus runs approximately 35 minutes one way and passengers do not have to worry about catching the scheduled transportation service. It leaves when it is fully boarded with passengers. With the return tickets, passengers are pretty sure they have the chartered transport to bring them back to the terminal on time. Arriving the parking lot of the shuttle buses in Brugge, visitors may easily complete the tour around the major attractions of the beautiful ancient city on foot within two to three hours.

Chocolate and other delights
May 2018
Of the many ports in our cruise this was one of the most surprising. We knew about how great the food and chocolates were and everything we read and heard did not do it justice. It was other worldly. What was so surprising was the beautiful architecture from Italy, Spain, England and France. What extraordinary combinations.

Busy Bruge Port
Sep 2018 • Couples
Port of Zeebrugges is a very busy port with every kind of watercraft to watch as you stroll or picnic. There doent seem to be much pedestrian traffic and I question why as it is a very interesting place.

Just like most large ports in Europe. Quiet on the foot passenger front though.

If you arrive on a cruise ship, it's a typical commercial type port. You won't be taking any photos! The free shuttle bus will take you to the impressive looking, very modern, glass Terminal Building. It's an airy, pleasant place with a decent souvenir shop and an area where you can sit and use free wifi. Everywhere is very clean and tidy.

It could be the most charming place as a mixed harbour with yachts and sail,ng ships
Sep 2018 • Friends
I know this place for a very long time and it changed a lot. The harbour is a mess at this moment : the mud is allover the place and you can clearly see the slick and the garbage in the harbour. It just looks awful: to many appts are build and the local shops have been closed. No vison, no future!
