Very unwelcoming Landlady. everything was a problem and too much trouble. we certainly won't be going back. Very poor customer service.

Had dinner here before going to the 8pm service at Menin gate. Located right in the middle of the square, it serves lovely wholesome food, reasonably priced

We have been visiting Ypres for the last 8 years and whilst there are plenty of bars and eateries, there aren't many that stay open late. This has always been one of our favourites but in the last few years the atmosphere had diminished slightly....More

A proper pub with no pretension to be anything else. It has a pool table and a TV to watch the football with an eclectic mix of music in the background. This is not a bar, so don't expect anything other than a traditional old...More

What an experience, the beers were sublime and the staff were incredible, the land lady is a force of nature! What an experience, you couldnt ask for more! I mean come on! Xx

Went for a drink 11th November in this British pub run by Belgians,clearly exploiting the deaths of British soldiers and the British visitors to the area. They obviously never visit the uk as it's a dank horrible bar and nothing like a pub. Scandalous prices...More
