We stayed in Lille but in hindsight we should have stayed in Ypres. Our guide Christian picked my wife and I up at our hotel and from then on he simply blew us away. I've been too Gallipoli and always wanted to visit where the Australians made a stand at Viller Bretonneux in WW1, my research showed my great great... More

Annette and Christian are the perfect hosts on an amazing tour. As the group travelled around the Flanders and Somme areas we were shown and learnt so much. We had excellent accommodation and meals. One of the best tours I have ever joined.

what a wonderful experience we had on our Camalou Tour - Christian and Annette are the perfect hosts and their knowledge base is amazing. My husband Rod and I did a 4 day tour and we had asked for Australian content which was our interest and we were delivered so much more it was the best 4 days we have... More

After many years of wanting to visit the Western front, my husband and I were so fortunate to find an exceptional guide in Annette for our full day tour in June. Her knowledge of WW1 history and enthusiasm for ensuring future generations know of the sacrifices made by the Allies is without precedent. As we travelled the various significant sites... More

Christian and Annette took us to all the Kiwi and Australian sites in Flanders. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference to understanding what the soldiers went through 100 years ago, and what a waste it all was. Despite pouring rain - a small reminder of what the soldiers put up with - we travelled extensively. A great experience.... More

Annette gave us an informative and well researched historical tour of the WW1 battlefields surrounding Ypres. She helped explain the actual tactics used and why certain topographical ground was chosen for battles. She also personalised this with stories that she had researched about some young soldiers who had died in the conflict from our home village in England. Strongly recommended.

Annette and Christian really brought the Battle of the Somme to life, they knew their military history well, they made arrangements that made both of us feel special. They procured a wreath for me to lay at the Menim Gate during their Last Post ceremony and also made special arrangements with the Aussie School at Villiers-Bretonneau for me to present... More

Annette was a wonderful guide!! There was just two of us on her tour and we were tight for time due to train issues bu that was not a problem for Annette. She took the time to pick us up at the train station and drop us off in time to catch our train out. She was so knowledgeable of... More

Christian and Annette were wonderful. This is a belated review. We went in June 2015. My husband was tracing 2 brothers from his little town in NZ. Christian took us to places which you could not do on your own. We found one brother and the other was in France. Accomodation and transport was excellent. Well worth the trip.

Christian and Annette had researched more info on what we wanted to see. Where my grandfather fought and where my Great Uncle was killed. His name is on the Menin Gate and with their research were able to be within 300 metres from where he was killed. Also took us to where my husband's grandfather and great uncle fought with... More
