“We wheeled in the wind”

Determined not to miss this opportunity my son and I unhooked our bikes from the motorhome and set off on the 42km adventure. Guided by a 2 euro map from the Ypres tourist office and a superb set of road signs we had the most amazing, knackering but informative day. It was windy! We did end up being forced to walk at times and we saw a lot of Belguim countryside. Tyne Cot, Hill 60, Hill 62, Sanctuary Wood, Essex Farm, Zillebeke, Zonnebeke, Langemark....and so much more. Get on your bike and see more.
