More of a landmark than a visitor attraction. Just one of the many historic buildings in Bruges. If you visit Bruges by coach and walk into town, or by train and walk into town, look out for this landmark, just where the two walking routes...More

This medieval tower is located in Minnewater park in Bruges and centuries ago was used to store gunpowder. Part of the old city walls. About a 10 to 15 minute walk from historic centre.

A mediëval tower from end 14th century which you can find around the Minnewater lake. From here you can cross the bridge and continue to have a walk around Bruges.

Per se it is not exceptional but it's a nice sight when walking along the lake and the canal -away from tourist crowds.

Dates right back to the beginning of the 1400s. Apparently it used to be where Brugge kept its gunpowder stored!! Used to form part of the medieval wall around the city. Worth a look
