The bartender last Monday night (5th October) was very rude, impolite and disrespectful to customers. The bartender apparently was having a bad day and started speaking in a very rude manner not only to my friends and I, but also to the surrounding tables. At one point, he said that he didn't care about being rude because he isn't the owner of the bar and therefore the potential negative consequences of his misbehavior weren't of his business. I'm sorry that this bad experience tarnished the good decoration and the uniqueness of this hidden bar.

If you are lucky enough to be served by the nice one, then your experience will be amazing. If you are not that lucky then prepare yourself to being treated like they don't care about having customers or not.

This place was such an awesome find! We arrived here at 11pm straight after arriving in Bruges. The bar was filled with people but had a very cool, relaxed atmosphere about it. People playing darts and others playing cards around a table. This place is a locals bar as well as some tourists. You can choose from hundreds of beers (which is not unusual for a Belgian bar). The bar itself felt so cosy and hidden away. Although, something to note - TAKE CASH! They do not accept card. But the bar tender was very accommodating as we had to leave the bar briefly to draw out cash. Overall, really loved this place. If you're heading to Bruges, put this at the top of your 'bar list'.

Having been advised to visit this pub, I strongly recommend popping in for a few beers. Prices were half that of the prices on the market square. Friendly staff in this little gem of a place.

Visited the bar after a recommendation from someone in the UK. Great little find, atmosphere was great with all ages enjoying Belgium beers! Very reasonably priced if you stick to local beers i.e. Le chouffe was €3 where in the UK it’s about £4.50. Bar tender was great, he was recommending his favourite beers and spoke a minimum of three languages from what I could pick up.
