Andy McSweeny’s Brugge Phototour was one of the highlights of our European vacation. He took us to some sections of Brugge we had seen before but helped me, a novice photographer, see them through a professional’s eyes. Andy’s engaging, outgoing manner, his critiques of my photos and recommendations, along with the incomparable beauty of Brugge, made our last day in the city the most memorable one. I’ll be back next year, picking Andy’s brain with more questions and I know he will enjoy answering them.

What a great experience. Andy was incredibly engaging and helpful. He's a fantastic photographer and gives great advice on all aspects of the craft. Even more, he's a lot of fun to be around and has a wonderful knowledge of the town. We would absolutely do another tour if we returned to Brugge.

This was a truly outstanding tour from Andy. He really showed us Brugge in all it’s hidden and obvious glory. He was an excellent guide with great bonhomie and really listened to what our are was of interest were. On the photography front he gave some great tips and advice. The trip more than delivered in every aspect. Well done Andy, excellent !

Very lovely guy who adapted the tour well to our needs (my sister's operated leg) and was able to go into enthusiastic detail whenever we had particular interests or further questions. The way he presented photography was very inspirational and gave me new ideas in what ways to improve the way I choose my motives. He was very positive and encouraging about reviewing my takes on realizing the discussed techniques. I am a very amateur photographer which was no problem at all and he's definitely not snobby about 'only' using smartphones. Thank you very much, Andy!

In short, this photo tour was one of the best activities we did in Bruges. Andy is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but friendly and very easy-going. He has no problem explaining stuff on a smartphone, Nikon compact camera or Fujifilm cameras. If you can capture the attention of a 15-year old girl, an 11-year old boy while at the same time get them and us to think about composition and give tips that really matter, you really make this tour into a 3 hour exciting photographic experience. Personally I enjoyed the complete package that he gives, not photography only but interesting and fun facts on the history of Bruges and whenever possible just a casual chat. Heavily recommended... we'll be seeing him again in the future, that's for sure.
