My wife and I have been frequent enough visitors to Bruges over the past fifteen years or so that we don’t think of ourselves anymore as typical tourists.
Nevertheless we still always spend time at what is unashamedly one of Bruge’s most touristy bars.
Why? It’s location simply can’t be beaten and there’s just nothing quite like sitting overlooking the canal and surrounding medieval architecture whilst downing your favourite Belgian tipple. Beer selection is good, prices as you’d expect, a little above average but not exorbitant.
Be aware also that it’s a daytime venue only - closes in the early evening.
A de-merit and true sign of the times is that the individual table heaters, near essential for winter visits, are now coin fed….hmmmm.
Still an essential element of any Bruges visit in our opinion.

Well, We chose to drink beer in this place and we didn't regret it. The staff was very friendly, we had a nice table near the canal and I had 4 different beers (beer tasting) which were lovely. The location is great and I strongly recommend this place also for taking pictures since the beer wall is very nice.

For any beer enthusiast visiting Bruges, 2be Beer Wall is a must-stop. It's a paradise for those who love exploring the vast world of Belgian beers. Here's why:

A staggering selection: The name says it all – a wall of beer! 2be Beer Wall boasts an incredible selection of Belgian brews. Whether you're a fan of light lagers, hoppy IPAs, or robust Trappist ales, you'll find it here.
Don't feel overwhelmed by the choices. The friendly staff is happy to recommend beers based on your preferences. Plus, you can order tasters in special sample glasses, allowing you to try a few different beers before committing to a full pint.

Tourist-friendly: Located in the heart of Bruges, 2be Beer Wall is easily accessible for tourists. While selection and ambiance are top-notch, be prepared for prices to reflect the tourist location. However, for the unique experience and chance to sample a wide variety of Belgian beers, it's worth the splurge for many visitors.

We stopped by 2be Bar in August 2023 on a day trip to Brugge. The place was recommended by our tour guide and we are very thankful for that. The bar has a great concept of different tasting sets letting you sample quite a good number of beers in a single visit. This is important considering hundreds of different beers Belgium has to offer. We took 2 sets of 4 small glasses and really liked 3-4 out of them.

We recommend the place if you like beer and are interested in tasting some authentic varieties.

Its still there and great as ever. Inepensive brews from all the Belgian breweries, on tap. You can get a small, medium or large pour for pennies compared to what we pay in the USA and every one is better. Check out their gift shop with not only beer but memorabilia and cool lunch boxes, etc, Take a selfie at the Wall, go, grab a few small pours and stare at THE WALL.

The shop has good selection of bottled beers, and the prices are OK. If you find the same beer in a supermarket, it will be cheaper indeed, otherwise it’s OK to buy here. For instance, a small bottle of Blanche de Bruges costs here 1.9 EUR. Brugse Zot 0.33 glass costs here 4.9 EUR, while in the brewery shop the price is 5 EUR.

Great place for a drink.
Well decorated - loved the beer wall and menus hanging from the ceiling.
Excellent selection of drinks at really reasonable prices (5 euros) in an interesting variety of glasses and even a coconut shell.
Lovely to sit on the good sized terrace with your drink and watch the world go by.
Would highly recommend.

Beer, beer, more beer and cheese!
Love this place, we have been a few times and the choices are unreal.
Beer menus hang from the ceiling as you walk in, find a table outside and you’re right on the canal.
Go back in, find your menu and order. They also do brilliant taster options.
Oh, and they do cubes of cheese with fantastic Belgian mustard….!
They will also give you tokens for the loo as they are 50 cents to use otherwise….look out for the fish tank sinks!

A nice venue but the beer evangelism is a little over the top. The bar staff refused to make a shandy - a not unreasonable request for a partner who isn’t a big fan of beer. And a somewhat misplaced sense of pomp when their specialist beers on tap include Stella...

We went for 2 taster trays (2x3 beers). All the beers were excellent and very varied. We sat on the balcony overlooking the canal. Really nice feel and atmosphere to this place. A must-do for anyone who is into their beers.
