coming in from the train station, take the first right and walk right alongside the canal to the foot of Minnewater and then up it's left side. It's a beautiful introduction to Brugge! The park on the far side of the lake across the bridge...More

This area is lovely for a walk, there were ducklings in the water on the day we visited. It is quiet despite the tourists.

Lucky wth weather. Views and walks a must. Bars not keen to let you sit outside at lunch time without eating. Staff a bit like those in markt.

Lovely little spot if you do a walking tour you will hear stories about the lake or if you do a horse and carriage ride you will also stop near here there are benches so you can sit and enjoy the views

I'm going to bruges for a day and I'd like to know what's best to do in such short time? We'll be staying in a hotel very near to bruges station so how far are the walks and also how do we get to this lake? We will be doing the boat tour hopefully but we would also like to visit this lake. Thank you
