Beautiful serene and peaceful place to visit. Very well kept. This venue has just been awarded a UNESCO world heritage badge.

Amsterdam, Brussels and Ghent all have their own Beginhof but this one is the best by far. Perhaps it's because the Bruges Beginhof still is operated as a spiritual retreat. You are asked to show respect and keep your voices down as you wander through...More

Nice row of houses but quite overcrowded by tourists. We loved the lake in front, probably called Lake of love and the setting of some of the beguinhof buildings around it & the flock of white swans made it look very picturesque. It’s a 5...More

A lovely oasis of peace in the heart of the city. The church is worth a look while you’re there. Nice part of the city tour.

We enjoyed a stroll in this area. It is quiet, with lovely gardens and a very special gift shop. We had been here almost 50 years ago and it was still the same lovely spot.
