This is a nice part of Bruges to visit a bit away from the madding crowds at Markt. The old convent exudes history and the church has a lovely display of artwork depicting the stations of Christ.

It was a sort of medieval social service center with a religious utopian Christian theme, but with lay people. It is now a Benedictine Convent. There is a museum and the views are breathtaking. I highly recommend it.
