I'm in Bruges quite often and usually try to fit in a museum visit. This time I happened upon Musea Sculpta and what an amazing experience it turned out to be. It totally exceeded my expectations. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and explained the process to me me clearly. The sculptured 3-D works of famous artists and their works brought to life by artists from all over the world and fully explained with the audio guide was one of the best museum experiences. The facility itself is conducive to relaxing and enjoying listening to the guide. I only managed to get halfway through the self guided tour as I took my time but now I'm glad I didn't rush because I have something to look forward to when I return to Bruges to finish my tour at Musea Sculpta.

If you're interested in Hieronymous Bosch, or art at all, this is a fantastic way to spend an hour. A walk through the Garden Of Earthly Delights with the audio guide really is like immersing yourself in the garden itself. Masses of explanatory detail given, though I'm not sure how much of it is assumed, rather than actually credited to Bosch himself. Either way, it's a fascinating insight into the painting and wonderful to get up close and personal with the wild life-sized characters from the painting.
Great value for money too!

A fantastic complement to the existing traditional nearby museums showing some of the original works by this group of painters. The audio guide provided fascinating detail as to why various symbols and motifs are used in the art works. The 3D effect brings the images to life in a memorable way which creates a lasting impression, especially if you have not seen such a thing before. So much meticulous work has gone in to this exhibition. The peaceful courtyard allows you to get outside into the sunshine for a break with your drink. Of all the paintings, The Virgin and Child with Canon van der Paele by Van Eyck is brought to life in outstanding and exquisite detail. This exhibition also ensures that the vision and concept of Alexander Deman are not forgotten. Superb!

One of the most beautiful and interesting exhibitions we have seen in Bruges. Absolutely worth seeing and the audio guide is so exciting and interesting that you would like to hear and explain even more. We admired the artistic collaborative work and hope that the exhibition will still be found and visited by many interested visitors. The cashier was very nice and allowed us to put down our wet luggage as it rained all day.

During a group (family) visit of 19 people visited the museum. We received a very fascinating and semi-professional explanation from our personal guide Amber (museum employee). Both young and old really enjoyed this! It was great!!

This exhibit totally brought the artwork to life for me and helped me see things I had never seen before. The reliefs are so detailed and with the addition of colour it really makes you feel closer to the work. The lady on reception offered inciteful information and was a real delight in her enthusiasm which made the visit even better. Highly recommended!

Very unique look at pieces of Dutch Masters’ works. Certain details of famous paintings by Bosch, Memling and the van Eyck brothers laid out in various rooms. The audio guide points out key parts of the installation and what the meaning might be. I had the museum to myself so didn’t feel rushed to get through it.

I don’t really like posting poor reviews but I didn’t enjoy the museum. The plaster reliefs of the paintings were very well done but after viewing ( and listening to commentary) of a few it all became a bit repetitive. The art itself isn’t up my street so maybe that’s why I didn’t enjoy??? The girl on the front desk was very lovely and had tried to explain the concept of the museum to us. I felt I could have spent my money elsewhere…

Dear , Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your recent visit to the museum. We appreciate your honesty and feedback, as it helps us improve and better understand our visitors' preferences. We're glad to hear that you found the plaster reliefs of the paintings to be well done. The artists take great pride in creating these replicas with meticulous attention to detail. However, we're sorry to hear that the experience became repetitive for you after viewing a few of them. We understand that everyone's artistic tastes vary, and not every exhibition may resonate with everyone. Sincerely, Musea Sculpta
