About
On display is a rich collection of world-famous art and sculpture. All these authentic works are in the Catalogues Raisonnés of the works of Salvador Dali. The works of art are exhibited in a sensational, dramatic setting in typical Dali style: mirrors, gold and shocking pink.

This is a room full of Dali’s original prints. Dali himself made the prints and most are signed by him. It was worth seeing but the Audio tour for an extra £3 was worth it to tell the story. We enjoyed it and there was plenty to see. A lot of his work is quite erotic and graphic. I’m not a great fan of his work but I did enjoy learning about his story.

You can observe Salvador Dali's paintings. Of course you can't compare it with his house in Barcelona for example, but for me it was very interesting to see some of his works, and I found the information provided interesting, as well.

Very affordable and accessible works of Dali.

The exhibition is in poor shape. Very sad. There’s an audio tour but it is hard to follow and some points of contacts are missing. It needs a major overhaul. There is poor narrative to understand Dali’s life and tribulations. Very important for this artist’s tortured existence. The information offered is good but hard to put together a comprehensive understanding of Dali.

Located right in the heart of Bruges.

The place is sad looking. Very worn out. The signage needs a lot of help and the place needs a major facelift as well. Compared to other similar caliber artists”museum (for example, Van Gogh in Amsterdam) it looks like a poor orphan. How can they treat this genius’s work so poorly. It doesn’t reflect well on Bruges that they haven’t done something to help this museum shine.

An excellent selection of Dali's work. I especially appreciated the number of sketches they had available to view. There is even a small shop to purchase copies. Not sure if you can call them original or prints or copies, but that is a fact the museum audio tour can begin to describe for you.

That being said, the biggest disappointment when it came to this museum was how out of sync the audio numbers (linking to the audio tour) to the works where they were posted. The audio tour would go into some pretty significant details, however, you'd have trouble matching what they were talking about and why. It ended up being more a source of frustration than education or entertainment.

As such, I would not call this one a must-do. However, if you are hopping around Europe and just tried of checking out churches after churches, this one could offer a change of pace, even if for just 30-45 minutes.

I´ve been to all three Dalimuseums in the world - the first one in the united states, than the one by Dalí himself in Figueras and last but not least the one in Berlin at the Potsdamer Platz. All three are real museums and not just a businesscase to sell merchandising or reproductions.
Brügge is a very nice town..and doesn´t need such touristtrap using the name of a great artist...there have been not so much visitors...therefore I guess that it may close

PLEASE DON'T GO. The most disappointing exhibition I have ever visited.
About the content, the exhibition only displays copies of etchings and engravings, no original pieces.
The lack of respect towards Dalí's artwork is outrageous. The whole exhibition is arranged in a tacky way. Etchings and engravings hang crooked, some things are falling apart, even fans are parked in front of one of the pictures.
One of the sculptures had remains of glue on it, after we indicated it to the person in charge she claimed it not to be important because it is not for sale and called it "just decoration". After we walked past her she called us idiots, which was clear even if we don't speak Flemish.
If you are at the square visit the exhibition next to it. At least, the city should stop advertising it in their official site.

This is merely a collection of signed prints some of which are for sale. If you expect to see anything original keep looking... you won’t find it in this gallery. It should be expected that they make you aware that none of these pieces are “works” of the artist but (signed) copies of his art. Looking at some of the reviews here, it looks like most tourists don’t understand the difference... or they just don’t care.

I love Salvador Dali's work and have since I first learned he designed the first chupachup wrapper. His melting clocks and other surrealist masterpieces have always reminded me of dreamscapes and flow of consciousness style writing. This exhibit was none of that. It mostly contained sketches and work barely discernable as Daliesque. As well as some works by Rodin. I felt very much ripped off.

We entered the Dali exhibition using the Brugges city card. One has to admit, had we paid for entry we would have been most put out. We spent little more than 20 minutes in the exhibition before moving on elsewhere.

The exhibition itself is tedious. Dali appears to have no real connection to Brugges and the best of his work is evidently not on display. Much of the exhibition is dedicated to what can only be described as borderline pornographic material. In many cases, these are mingled with grotesque images that merge graphic pictures of genitalia with bizarre creatures in vulgar poses.

I can think of nothing to commend the Dali exhibition. Save yourself the entrance money and find anything else to do.

A small collection, of mostly Dali’s graphic works. Contains several sculptures and is a good option if you enjoy surrealism. Price is 10€ but you can find a discount coupon at the train station for €8
