We did a flight with 5 adults and 2 small children in our party and it was wonderful! The communication was timely and accurate. We were picked up on time and delivered to the take off site where we proceeded to help as instructed and then get in for our ride. We had perfect weather for the flight, enjoyed our time with our awesome pilot, and I was almost disappointed by our boring landing due to the amazing weather. I would totally recommend this tour-its a beautiful way to see Bruges and if a morning flight, you’re back in time for a full day. Thanks Bruges Ballooning!

They were very safety conscious and really focused on the safety of our two young children (one of whom is a baby). Gave great commentary. Took photos for us. Created a magical experience with champagne and pastries at the end. Engaged my 4 year old son in helping to put the hot air balloon away by allowing him to jump on the material once it was packed away!
He worked hard to ensure a safe and soft landing given that we had the children. This was absolutely, hands down the best experience that all of us had in our monthlong trip to Europe.
Bravo!
Both Christophe and the gentleman he had helping on the ground were wonderful with the kids and so kind. Really loved the experience and really appreciated how focused on safety they were.
He worked hard to ensure a safe and soft landing given that we had the children. This was absolutely, hands down the best experience that all of us had in our monthlong trip to Europe.

This was an incredible experience and an absolute must if you are in Bruges. Our pilot Christophe is the best in the business, he will show you the most magical views of the city. An enjoyable experience from the moment we were collected from our accommodation. We were all able to help with the assembly and launch procedure which enhanced the experience. We floated over the beautiful Bruges and surrounds, Christophe the expert gliding us over the trees and the wheat fields and landing us with 10/10 precision. We had a breakfast to remember after landing. An experience that will be hard to beat. Don't hesitate, just treat yourself and book the experience of a lifetime. Thankyou Christophe and Kristian!!!

An experience in Bruges with the Bruges ballooning ! A wonderful day to explore Bruges from above. A 2-3 hour 3 trip with pick-up and drop-off at the b&b and enjoy the whole way! And I am afraid of hights.. but no second I had this feeling! Unbelievable and would do it again! Thanks so much to Christophe and Dries! We will recommend it to all our guests!

What a wonderful way to see Bruges, from a hot air ballon. The town of Bruges from the air and on the ground is spectacular! Christophe is an excellent pilot and the ground crew were great. We highly recommend!!

My wife and I flew with Bruges Ballooning on a beautiful autumn evening. The team managed the flight beautifully, taking us right over the centre of the city, and landing safely in a field on the opposite side. The negative part of the experience, however, was that too many people (ten) were shoe-horned into the basket. My wife and I were separated into separate quadrants of the basket. She was forced to ride with a highly disagreeable, smelly couple, and I rode with a pleasant but fairly large couple. We couldn't even turn around in our corner of the basket. For us, it turned what should have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience into an unpleasant ordeal. I highly suggest that, when booking a balloon ride, ask the operators to confirm that there will be no more than eight passengers. If they can't make this commitment, or can't promise that you will only be riding in a separate quadrant with your spouse, I don't recommend going.

Had one of the most memorable and fun evenings of my life "walking in air" over the center of beautiful Bruges near sunset last night. Every positive adjective, verb and now can be used here. Just do it!! I will never forget this trip because of Bruges Ballooning.

My boyfriend and I made a weekend trip to Bruges last October. On our first day while we were walking around the market square, we saw a balloon flying above us, it looked so beautiful in that medieval scenery! We immediately decided we wanted to do it. We booked that same night, and we were so lucky to get the last two places and also to be blessed with a soft autumn weather, good enough for flying the next evening.
The next day we were picked up in our BB, we jumped into their jeep and realized the adventure had already begun. We arrived to our take off site located in the outskirts of the city, and then we all participated in what I would call ‘the ritual of inflating the balloon’. Christophe and his team are so professional, they pointed out the process and in less than 10 minutes, we were in the air!
Being next to the clouds was the most fantastic, breathless experience we´ve ever had. Everywhere we looked at we could see dazzling towns, and the greenest landscape I´ve ever seen, full of farms with horses, cows, ducks, even rabbits running away! On top of that was Christophe´s comments on all the details of our flight, just as if we were all part of his family.
We learned that among balloonist, they wish each other soft landings in every flight, and that was just what we had! Our pilot moved his hands as if he was a magician, and all of a sudden we were drinking champagne in a stubble field. Packing altogether the balloon was so fun, we never thought it would all fit back in their trailer, but it did!
To complete our wonderful adventure, we ended our flight having a drink in the terrace of the farmer who was the owner of the field. The nice man turned out to be a funny comedian, although we couldn´t understand a word, because he spoke only dutch. Oh, oh we laughed until we cried!
On our way back we asked Michiel, the youngest crew of the team, if he could recommend us a place where we could eat. He mentioned a couple of restaurants and said they were heading to one of them, that we could join them, and so we did. It was a nice local place where the team meets every night, so we had the chance to learn more about ballooning and to enjoy their great stories. It was like a backstage tour to our flight.
It was fully awesome!

My wife and I recently went to Europe to celebrate our Anniversary. We both had thought about a baloon ride, but are both a bit shy about heights. After much thought and planning, we decided to give it a try.
This ride was wonderful, and will stay in our memories forever. Christophe and Andrew picked us up from our hotel. They set us at ease from the start, and were so much fun. There were only a total of 4 people (including us) going for the ride.
We helped a little to get the baloon set up. After we loaded into the basket, since 3 of the 4 folks were a bit afraid, Christophe just kept things low key, and before we knew it we were rising in the baloon. It was so beautiful, and a really peaceful experience, that in a few minutes we felt great. It was amazing that you can carrry on conversations with persons on the ground, over 1500 feet away, and it sounds like they are standing right next to you. The cows would follow the baloon, all the while looking up.
The wind took us a bit away from the town, but we could see it all the time, and the countryside was awesome.
Words cannot describe the experience. Christophe and Andrew also made it great by just being very genuine and nice folks. After the ride, and visiting/toasting/snaking on the ground, we felt as if we had known these guys for years.
If you are uncertain about this, think it through and give it a try. You will be amazed!!

I never tried hot air ballooning before and decided that a flight over Bruges may be a good starting point. The flight with Bruges Ballooning exceeded all our expectations! We were in the air for more than an hour starting with high rise towards 1500 feet with a great view of countryside and surrounding area and then descending for a flight over the city centre.
The whole experience was very uplifting in more senses than one with the beautiful scenery and balloon operations competing for our attention.
The whole team was extremely efficient. There was a right balance between professionalism and personal touch - our pilot Peter answering our questions about the balloon and the sights underneath and not overloading us with unnesesary details. My kids were very excited about being asked to help with balloon folding and packing after the flight.
This was a definite pinnacle of our two weeks trip to Belgium and Germany.
The whole experience was very uplifting in more senses than one with the beautiful scenery and balloon operations competing for our attention.

As I'm answering this message I recognize your name and I see you already booked your flight. I wanted to say that both are very beautiful - some days however mornings can be misty. Other mornings can be heavenly. Evenings can be too windy sometimes, for us to fly, but the light can be really beautiful.... and you don't have to get out of bed early!
Every flight is truly different. As your pilot, I would say give us a call when you arrive in Bruges and we'll take you for what we think will be the best slot that day or those days.
