Philippe was the perfect guide for this tour. He was friendly and welcoming to the entire party and he possessed a tremendous knowledge of the sites we visited and the general area. The tour is very well paced with time to pause and reflect. I would most definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent a few days in Bruges and the highlight of our visit was the Flanders field battlefield tour with Quasimodo tours. We were picked up from our hotel by Sharon and met up with Philippe our guide. Philippe treated us to a memorable day, his knowledge is second to none and his enthusiasm of his subject is superb. Lunch was included and strawberries were even handed round on the minibus. The trip was rounded off by a visit to Menin gate to witness the last post which was very moving. We cannot recommend this trip more highly, we wanted to do a tour like this for years and we were not disappointed. If you do nothing else on your visit to Bruges don’t miss this trip. Thank you Sharon and Philippe for a wonderful day.…

The Company we booked a full day tour to Ypres including the Menin Gate Last Post Ceremony cancelled late the previous day. Luckily our hotel managed to get us places with Quasimodo the following day. Philipe was outstanding with his knowledge, enthusiasm, helpfulness and friendliness. He brought the whole story of Ypres thoughout the First World War to life. Due to the late booking he had to make special arrangements to enable us to be able to attend the Last Post Ceremony which was very important to us. Anyone wanting to vistit Ypres should only choose Quasimodo.…

We took a 4 hour private tour (4 adults) of the Ypres Salient. Our guide was Lucas, he was excellent... very knowledgeable and personable. Our tour was tailored to areas and points of interest relevant to 2 of our great Uncles who fell in the area in WW1, which was great considering that we'd booked at short notice. Would recommend Quasimodo Tours and highly recommend Lucas.…
