Anyone interested in Flemish and Belgian paintings should be prepared to spend at least 2 to 3 hours in this museum. The museum is located somewhat off the beaten track, away from the city center but within walking distance of the railway station.

Beautiful architecture in a smallish building which is on the beaten path. Would be wonderful to alke through but I only saw the outside beauty.

It has some nice art, primarily Flemish art but the building didn't have a nice atmosphere, it felt dated. I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I just expected too much.

Open all day and although we didn’t go inside as it was pricy at 16 euros for us both. We decided to walk around the park inside which was free and worthwhile, on a nice sunny day

It is open on Sundays (10 - 18) but like many museums in Europe it is closed on Mondays. You could try St Bavo's Cathedral instead on Monday if you are looking for something that is open.
